are you able to make animations using nCloth or using dynamics with maya 2025? i can't. maya only renders the first frame for the whole sequence. im using arnold. Any advice? i called autodesk and they haven't figured it out either. :( so frustrating.
Cool, but why are so many riggers and animators still using the 2016 and 2018 versions? I think that plugins that are written for these versions are not suitable for new ones.
Maya is an incredible bit of software. It became popular because of the Art of Maya. Believe it not it, when Alias Wavefront owned it, it felt rebellious, and new. And as much as this is a really great video, it just doesn’t suit the Maya user base. Nowadays, Maya is like asking a group of people if you can borrow their phone to make a call. Everyone has the best and latest features, and they’re all screaming at you as to why you should use theirs instead of someone else’s. When really, all you want to do is make a bloody phone call and go home.
viewport - 10 years old, any improvements. shader graph editor - 20 years old, any improvements. ui - still very bugy and the same for 10 years. UV - RizomUV soo much better. smart extrude should be introduced 5 years ago, nowdays every program have it. very very bad autodesk, as always

I didn't have any probelms with that happening, so it seems so
Are you still having this problem? When I want to keyframe, the timeline freezes and won't let me do anything until seconds or even minutes later.
@@chrisxz56 In 2024 I had to adjust my workflow to never select keys that way because it almost always consistently crashes the whole program

I HATE 2025 VERSION. IT HAS "RENAME" ISSUES AND FOR RIGGING IS A NIGHTMARE. I HAD TO REINSTALL MAYA 2024.2 AND THE PROBLEM DISAPPEAR
Why all these promotion now... Is maya scared? You should be.. Reduce your subscription fee if you want to survive.. Because you are still the best..
