What's up, I installed a step on the inside of the tailgate. It stows when tailgate is closed and can be a step when tailgate is open. It also has a handle for easy access. The wife wanted it........I'm really glad she wanted it. It is better than a bumper step.
I just installed those LED’s in my 22 tundra yesterday. But seriously Mark, I wouldn’t say it was a pretty easy job. Either you have small hands or some long ass fingers🤣 The area behind the bulbs is extremely tight, and definitely a knuckle scratcher. But, I have to say these led’s are SUPER Bright on flashing mode! Only downside is on the low output mode ( running light ), there is a obvious dark circle in the center of the turn signal lenses because there isn’t any led’s on the end of the bulb itself. But, I’m still pretty happy with the brightness. Thanks for the video…
@@ToyotaSean No, sadly I traded the truck in for a new Ram Laramie. I’ve been a loyal Toyota guy for many years, but my 22 tundra had too many quality control issues and I just had to cut my losses.
Mark by the way another reason I don’t live in California although think they place is gorgeous. $800 to $1000 vehicle inspection fee and I think my annual tags of $25 or $65 for a vanity plate is expensive not now. Glad to pay it. Only thing left in my 2020 Silverado Z-71 RST Black that is not LED is the front turn signal bulbs. I did switch them out with Lasfit which as you probably know easiest thing in world to do but they would hyper flash so I switched them back. Yeah LEDs looked brighter but not much difference and I hated the hyper flash. Still have the LED bulbs and just ate the coat. As I said before went from not liking your truck to loving your truck and I agree about the step rails they need to come off. Still trying to get over the inspection fee. Cost of living way less in Tennessee would be glad to have you. We don’t have beaches but we got mountains.
Did anyone else get the LED bulbs from Lasfit? I tried searching by vehicle and you cannot search a 2022 tundra only goes to 2021. Also tried searching the part T-7443A and it gives me a variety of choices of 7443s but not 7443A. What am i missing, this should be easy to order.
what trim is your tundra >? and I know Lasfit do have awesome leds I have them in my taco and Honda they do make a world of difference if you don't have Lasfit leds then what is you doing 😂
LED vs halogen boils down to cost per light per vehicle. LED is still about 10x the cost of halogen light. Saves on production costs, which trickles down to vehicle base cost.
Mark Brenner bro I have a wireless charging mount as well in my silverado. I also have a Galaxy S21 Ultra with an ottorbox defender case so I purchased on Amazon a 12v fast charging plug it's about 35W-40W and my phone stays at full charge all the time with Google Maps and music running. But yea a suggestion it's really all about the fast charging high wattage plug
THere's a company in UK called Mous that has cases that have the BEST drop protection and don't interfere with your wireless charging, but they have a proprietary magnet system built into the case so you can still have a nice magnet mount in your truck without it ruining your wireless charging.
If that was my SR5 I would lower it back to stock then re badge it put chrome badges back on it and then do predator steps line x with clear coat on them and then swap the flares to paint matched OEM ones and add tow mirrors. The look you’re trying to go for currently is murdered out which is super dated and way to common. A too black truck looks cheap. A black truck with details looks more expensive and high end
If you drive it much, you're going to ruin the side of your seat slip and sliding in and out without the sidesteps. Wish I'd had them on my current truck so I wouldn't have worn the seat so much, but my new one has automatic sidesteps.
yeah those stock side steps are wack and look 15 years old from the factory. Not a crisp black, just looks like sun bleached brittle plastic. I got an 85 tercel that has a bumper that looks just like that.
@@samuelbenton5903 perhaps you should look it up. The only thing the two share are tungsten filaments. Halogen bulbs contain halogen gas which allow them to burn twice as hot as incandescent, but at a higher power consumption and a shorter filament life. The result is a brighter white light, vs. the weaker yellow light emitted by incandescent. Halogens can't be used in plastic housings with plastic lenses as it will melt both. So yes, they are very different...genius.

How do you like the new Tundra compared to all your past trucks??
I got a 2014 Tacoma and they hyper flash. Did ur truck did that? I had those and the hyper flashed on me
Where did y’all find it ? On lasfit only the year 2021 comes out & I have a 2022
I did the same thing for my Camry makes the headlights look so much better
Do you have the link to Lasfit led for turn signal in Amazon?

I love the sound of your truck. I am getting one too. Your truck looks good
Thank you bro!
Do you have a link to these turn signal bulbs?
Great video. Just bought some today. You should totally put all of your trucks in Thier own playlist.
I would get TRD side steps to replace those. Without any steps you’re gonna get a a lot of rock chips from those tires without mud flaps

When I was looking for a tundra, I made sure it had the upgraded LES’s cos those come with sequential turn siganls

same. I can’t find that for My 22 either
It’s under 7443. If you scoll down their page and look under “spec” you’ll see the product # T-7443A
This is great to see as I’m looking out of state especially in Arizona for my truck
I have those exact same Lasfit turn signals on my 4runner 😂

Yes

When are you getting an exhaust?!!! Cut of dat muffler XD, you'd be the first video on youtube of muffler delete with those turbos

look at this guy, this thing wont even see a gravel road he doesnt need rock sliders.
No wonder why everyone is moving out of California, next time ask for pink slip or print out paperwork. The Led are they polarized or not

Incandescent not halogen.
