The funniest part is that you don't actually need to drive the vehicle to get the job done. You can use any other one to do it. As DarkViper said when he tried the update: "So the cop car is a 4 million dollars mission trigger..."
I've even triggered a dispatch job by getting in the police car, then out and hitting the-pad button while on foot. That is just how meaningless the cop car truly is. Doesn't serve any real practical purpose.
Also funny how you either need to already own the Gauntlet Interceptor or any of the other (stupidly overpriced) police cars on Warstock to even unlock the trade prices. Rockstar might as well just not give them trade prices at all...
God forbid we just get a police uniform. Something we've asked for since 2013. 11 years, 8 police cars, 1 bail enforcement business, and 2 vincent related dlc's later and still..... nothing.
Up until GTA 4, side missions were always included from taxis, police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances. It would’ve been nice if Rockstar brought them all back, but they keep biding our time. If anything I just find it infuriating how they’re so out of touch.
If you do the gangbanger robbery for the salvage yard. Once your character is wearing the outfit during the finale go to armor and health in your interaction menu and just spam changing the armor type for about 15 to 30 seconds. Then switch to a new lobby and you can keep it. Just make sure to save it as an outfit otherwise you’ll lose it. Couldn’t find a regular one to get on pc sadly as there’s no player jobs that have them I think. But who knows how long until Cockstar takes that away too along with the other clothing glitches.
We got police vehicles and police missions, but the problems: -No police outfits (Noose aka a tactical Swat outfit and prison guard outfits are still not regular LSPD police officer outfits.) -low payout -the LSPD shouldn't even have juridictury in LS county, there should be separate missions depending where you are to avoid long distances. So you could make an LS county sheriff cruiser, drive to the countryside and start missions there in your Sheriff outfit. Or make an LSPD cruiser and do police missions in LS wearing your LSPD outfit.
@@kptparker san andreas highway patrol maybe, but state trooper just does not exists in GTA, I don't know why they added that livery. There are no npc with state trooper liveries or outfits.
Personally, I really only wanted to get the trade price for the Greenwood cruiser. Then once I got the Greenwood cruiser I removed the Livery, removed the siren light (and put the dashboard siren), painted it black and added tinted window so that I could be a Cold War Era IAA Agent.
I tried to make mine look like Sheriff Teasle’s Ford LTD from First Blood (1982). It turned out pretty decent, except the roof is white & the actual car has a blue roof
They should have just made these missions like the old vigilante missions from GTA3-GTASA. Sure they're simple, but they're fast paced and get progressively harder.
The cheapest police car is $3 million, the unmarked cruiser. Also the closed thing to a police uniform is the guard outfit from the prison break height or grupp sech security uniform from the casino heist
So it's like a smaller version of the Headhunter VIP work. Shame. Would have been cool if there was actually different scenarios, like collecting evidence that the police wouldn't normally be able to get (such as needing a warrant), using ANPR to identify vehicles and arresting the suspects; returning them to the lockup, you know; corrupt shady stuff that a not-cop hired by a cop to do unofficial cop work would do. Not just "go here and murder these people".
I can't believe they held back the C&C update because "that thing" happened just to release a update where you genuinely just kill people for the police
There are a few variations (bomb defuse and CCTV recordings collection), but there should be way more. I don't dislike the dispatch work itself and I don't dislike the new bail office either, but there are like 3 mission types in the entire thing like come on Rockstar.
The new update is really just about driving your ass to Blaine County from the city, even though the business is in the city. And the best part? The car is also slow as fuck, even the gta-nerf (cars are slow because the map is a bit small), but you are also tasked with driving a fucking van, or a police car that is somehow still slower than the actual cop cars that chase you. Also a reminder that there is no music to get you in the mood, so after 2-3 times, you are just bored.
Forgot to mention Rockstar not allowing you to do the missions with friends because you can’t be a CEO when you launch them. Thus ensuring that you can’t help any friends get the trade prices on the new police vehicles. They either have to buy one of the Chop Shop cars or pay the full $5mil on the new ones
Not to mention you don't really need to drive the cop car. Like bail van you can just start mission ditch the car and get a helicopter and it would be done quicker making dispatch missions completely pointless to add to cop car if we are allowed to do them in something like sparrow or any other weaponized vehicle. Yea this dlc clearly hasn't been play tested properly and they shit it out the door in that small time frame from announcing it to release.
25K for every dispatch you received. Play it four times, and you get 100K afterward. Play it 40 times, and you get 1 million dollars. In order to get your money back, which is roughly 3.5 to 3.7 million, if you upgrade your vehicle. You have to play at least 160 times to get your money back from it. What i don't like about these specific missions for dispatch is that you can't even use the computer inside of your vehicle to pick and choose which of the criminals in the area (Paleto Bay, Grapeseed, Sandy Shores, or Los Santos.) It's random and i hate having to guess where's my next location is going to be at. I already have 3 calls from Dispatch, and it's all in Grapeseed and my thought was if my next call was at Grapeseed again, I'll be right around the corner. No, i get one in El Burro Heights and I'm a galaxy away from that location, now i have to drive there and waste my time driving again. This isn't fun, it's actually infuriating and just not worth the trouble, unless you can get access in the computer from your cruiser, like how they did in GTA 4, where you can choose your target, i think it'll be more fun.
Baker missions are actually more fun and police style. You have pursuits, destroy illegal cassino operations, money truck rescue (you need to search it by the shooting) etc.

But HOLY SHIT, 5mil is a lot to pay for a fucking late 90s Chevy Impala.

They're just generic missions of go here and kill some guys, to be honest, they shouldn't even exist.
