the problem is all his amazing options are literally limited, eventually they become either bad or outright removed temporarily. not to mention he's slow as hell.

all of the low tier characters are just hiding their true power they know the top tier are extremely sensitive to losing so they decide to be good players and hold back on them take doc mario for example while he's regular mario he's a monster on the battle field but Mario's also a good man so every once in a while he puts on his lab coat and lowers his power so the others can catch a break and won't feel bad about not being as good as he is

Whats wrong about these characters compared to most mid to high tiers?
I dont play the game so I dont understand, I just see donkey kong being a raid boss disjointed beast that will kill you at 50 and live past 200 and K Roll having armor on half of his moves and several projectiles on a big body charcter and I dont understand why they are any better than what people say is mid tier.
DK is like low mid tier because he doesn’t live past 200% as often as you think due to his horrible recovery and he has an awful disadvantage state
plus DK is weak to zoners and fast characters
K. Rool is slow as hell, has one of the worst disadvantage states in the game, his recovery is exploitable and he’s screwed if his armor breaks

I understand, I didnt think their recovery was bad which if I understand correctly its a massive deal in every smash but especially the last 2. I think all top tiers are amazing at recovery, most of then at least.
K rool's hurtbox is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
A surprising numbers of combos become true against DK, as well as him just being combo food in general. Projectiles can be very bad, especially ones like non charged charge shot (clashes with most of DKs moves and leaves him in hit stun for Samus to punish), and offstage when you don’t have a jump then it’s really hard with dk. Counters off stage make it really hard to recover when you are far away unless your opponent can’t utilise counters well, the lack of vertical mobility harms mix up potential, and it’s easy to spike once you learn how the up b moves and works

I don't care what anyone says donkey Kong is not a low tier he kills at low percents he has like 14 different spikes super armor and he's fast as shit sometimes and his moves hardly has room to be punished not to mention the spin whare you lose at the edge if you have bout 60% how do I know I have a friend who plays him and he makes sure I suffer

DK is awful. Has zero winning matchups on any good characters. HORRIBLE disadvantage state, every character in the game can abuse him to no end. As long as you respect his grab and don’t drop shield on aerial down b, a lot of his kill setups are gone. Everyone hypes up his advantage state but it’s no better than any of the top/high tiers’
@mercurysnake274 you don't need kill set ups if you cooked by most of his attacks by 60/70 .and don't you find it odd that he's in almost every single video on this channel good or bad but mostly good. I also have multiple story's of getting cooked by his back air his monkey punch and being claped into oblivion by 70%
