You can hear the whistle before the pass was thrown. Detroit linemen stopped playing. Regardless of whether or not the clock was at 2:00 or 2:01 when it was snapped, the whistle stops the play. If there was no whistle at all, the Lions would have kept playing and the INT may not have happened at all, and I highly doubt it would have been a pick 6. Refs messed up by blowing the whistle. Bottom line, you don’t know how the play would have ended if no whistle was blown at all.
I watched it live, and multiple times from multiple sources with the audio. Never once heard the whistle until the ball crossed the goal line like I said...in the video...
@@bobnboshowI’d get your ears checked or some better headphones. It’s quite obvious there was a whistle as soon as the play began and you can clearly hear it on the broadcast
@@bobnboshow I also watched it live. I was confused as to why the whistles were blowing as the ball was being snapped. As the Cards players were still playing through, I remembered thinking "what are they doing? The whistle was blown. It's a dead ball. None of this counts." Why do you think Goff looked so confused during the play? Why do you think most of the Lions stopped playing? They all heard the whistle. The 2-minute warning call was early, which is why I was confused, but the whistle was still blown. The Lions NEVER receive favorable calls on controversial issues. That will never change. That said, I agree with what you guys are saying about consistency. That's been a problem for years. We, Lions, have been plagued by things like this for as long as I can remember. For example, revisit the Lions-Ravens game from the 2021 season that allowed Justin Tucker to kick a record-setting FG to win the game.

@@bobnboshow No one cares if you heard it - the players heard it.

A fan of a team with 0 rings to cope? Sounds very Bengal-ish to me
