    In later versions in the 70s at the end, he said, "no more will Stratford see him play ball, I'm trading the bum to Montreal". Also, he told him to "hit that Pepsi Cola sign". W&S would always improve their skits and make them more relevant to the time, usually it was more funny.

    I grew up just south of the Canadian border in Montana and would always watch 'Wayne & Shuster,' no matter what else was on at the time; that plus 'Hockey Night in Canada.' This was from CJLH from Lethbridge, Alberta that we received over our black & white. Probable saw this originally when I was but eight or nine.
