Just found your channel, good stuff. You have a flow problem here - too much restriction from the tank to the barrel. You need a faster opening valve as well. Check out potato cannons or QEV's (Quick Exhaust Valves) or sprinkler valves to get quick opening high flow valves.
I actually did this but didn't show it on camera (kinda detracted from the story) It did make a big difference to be fair so you are absolutely correct. I think with the compressor found right up it still only flew about 3m ~ 10ft Thanks for watching 👍👍👍
Great video as always! I thought I taught you more though! Looks like you could do with some more pressure in your inlet - maybe put an intermediate tank between the canister and the chamber to store higher pressure air for each shot (and don't use an open projectile!)
Hey James. Hope you are well. I guess you are the expert on the subject hehehe 😉 All very good points. Like the idea of the second chamber! I had to kinda work with what I had though. Getting parts is a bit of a challenge at the moment for obvious reasons. Projectile was closed ( didn't shoe it but I blocked the cardboard tube and taped over the end to prevent bypass.) More pressure for sure. A CO2 tank or a high pressure air compressor could work. I could also do with a faster discharge through a larger pipe Its all restricted by a 1/2" ball valve (just what I had at the time) Great to hear from you. Hope things are going well! Thanks for watching.
Good fun! :-D Now I am just waiting for the video where you use the Mk 2 version to blast that roll of white gold at least a hundred meters. (I really enjoyed the storyline and the gags - keep it up)
haha. I did consider a more incendiary version then had a quick read up on the UK firearms laws and decided I didn't fancy 5 years haha. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!! 👍👍
Hi great video love watching your videos, just a quick question which r tech tig do you have? I'm looking for a good reliable first tig. Would you recommend the one you have? Cheers
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I have the TIG 201 ACDC. Yeah it's a good machine, I would recomend it and them as company; they seem to care about their customers. I have their 30Amp plasma as well. Iv'e been eyeing up one of their Migs for a while but cant justify buying one at the moment. Had a fault with the Tig about 6 months into owning it. R-Tech had it collected , repaired and returned under warranty in about 72 hours. I was very impressed with their service!
Isn't there a lot of pressure loss due to the hole in the middle of the toilet paper roll? Have people got crazy as in France looting all the toilet paper in the supermarkets? I really had fun watching the video. Good job!
I actually blocked off the hole to prevent that. Just didn't show it on the video as it kind of detracted from the 'story' Your absolutely right though with the hole there is a lot of pressure loss. It has calmed down a bit now but the shops were completely bare a couple of weeks ago. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@Handmadeextreme then I guess the problem comes from the fact that air is not coming fast enough into the barrel. What if you try to block the roll by some means at, 10-20cm from the bottom of the barrel, let pressurized air come into this chamber and almost immediately unblock the roll, would it help?
@@Handmadeextreme No problem. I think my wife feels the same way..well I.hope so. I'm stuck on a ship for work in the midst of the current madness. Don't know when I'll see my family, so your videos are helping me get by!
I remember you saying in the last video comments about being stuck on a ship. I hope you are able to get home soon to the family. Glad the videos are helping. Stay safe
Aww c'mon... that fart, squeeze and splosh couldn't possibly have been your Wifey... why ? Because my Wifey NEVER farts, grunts, sploshes or makes a smell in the toilet, nor does she leave skid marks in the pan, and she told me ALL WOMEN NEVER DO! Women, apparently, are always well mannered in the toilet. Hmmmm... Nice silly video! Greetings from Southport.
😂😂😂 Brilliant! We did in fact record her saying "excuse me" but the timing with the footage didn't quite work out so it got cut unfortunately. I couldn't possibly divulge the original origins of the sound effects... hehe Thanks for watching and i'm glad you enjoyed it. 👍👍👍
There are always “tips and tricks” in these videos that add actual value beyond just entertainment.

Plug the inner cardboard roll part and see how it goes then.

Hahaha.... special delivery...
Where was he when the Germans needed him to fight for the Allies ??
