Everything of yours that I see is so damn good! Technical question: where is the guitar coming from? are you using ableton or some other method of controlling a pre-recorded track? or is someone else there out of shot playing it live?
we record the videos live (bass, drums, vocals) then once we pick the take i like i record guitars over that. i don't really like the sound of playing to a track because if you get a little off the click it sounds wrong. this way the take we pick, and the overdubs are in the pocket together
@@Drewofthetube That makes a lot of sense. And yes, tracks can be tricky, I use them for solo shows, but my music is a lot simpler rhythmically than much of what you do and I've definitely ended up out of sync once in a rare while. Whatever you are doing, it sure works.
