We left Disney World last night. The last thing we did on Wednesday was watch the lights show (which I think was called Magic) and Wishes. My whole family was in tears on the bus ride back to the resort we were staying at.

They're shut it down period. Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams was only still showing here (there was a weird version of it in Disneyland Paris but that stopped showing years ago) Remember...Dreams Come True, while featuring the intro and outro, was a completely different show, with a different narrator (Julie Andrews vs Jiminy Cricket) and a completely different soundtrack during the middle section. (When the Go the Distance part would start, instead of playing that, it played park music, and would continue doing such until the ending, when the Wishes song alternated with When You Wish Upon a Star.)
I remember seeing this live for the first time on my birthday, it was like a dream come true!

I saw this in my first time going to Disney World last summer and now I'm disappointed that I won't be able to see it again it truly was an amazing and beautiful show
This show contains real magic. Right now my heart is full of different emotions, happines, emotion, sadness. I wish i was there, right there watching wishes, sourrounded by the people i love on a magi holidays. I LOVE DISNEY

Yep, i don't know why but this fireworks show still gets me ...... I think when they say you can wish upon a star no matter who you are......I can't help it, I just get all choked up......
I was there in October 2009 and held my babies as we watched this spectacular show. I cried my eyes out. The oldest of those babies starts High School in a week. Where did the time go? If it's the last thing I do, I have to get me and my babies there again to remember the magic.

I was finally able to watch this tonight after 8 years (my little sister was too scared of loud things the years we didn't watch it) and now I'm crying because this was the last time I got to see Wishes in real life before they change it 😭😭
I'm going back to Disney in 28 days, and I'm
so excited to watch this again! Even though I go pretty much every year with my family since 2009, I haven't seen this since then because my little sister doesn't really like the loudness of the fireworks. Can't wait to see this show again, and I'm pretty sure that I will cry because it's so beautiful.

I cannot believe this show is closing. I would say this is equally as big a Disney classic as Fantasmic!

I was at WDW MK last night, and saw wishes up close by the castle itself. Fantastic show.
Advice: stay in the the back of Main Street, close to the exit. When the show is finished; get to the exit IMMEDIATELY. It took me an hour to get to me car.

word of advice: get there 20 mins early, and stand next to the Walt and Mickey statue. it's literally the best spot.

Wow I didn’t even realise this was one of your videos Shawn. I’ve been watching all of your planet coaster videos and started to recreate Wishes (even though it’s a little outdated) in planet coaster, only realised it was your video at the end with the name pop up. Thanks for the great video, it helped me get it as perfect as possible!
We tried to watch the whole show but it was very crowded and loud and we had to beat the traffic of millions of people. Last time I went we didn't get to watch either because it stormed badly. We were planning on riding Peter Pan's Flight during the fireworks because we hadn't rode it cause of the lines. But it was dark and it was loud so we just left. But I did have a good day. Magic Kingdom is still my favorite Disney world park. :)
May I say advise something.
Stay as close to back of Main Street. (Close to exit) so when the show ends immediately get to the entrance.
r1: it’s much less time consuming and you can get to the monorail in like less then 10 seconds.
R2: your really gonna be tired by the end of the day so it’s much more better than walking from upfront of the castle back to the exit and then wait for the monorail.
This does apply to Special holidays or New Years.
By the way, I'm gojng every 3 months.. last time , I went on November and it was all winter themed ...GOSH IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL

Even as a Disneyland local, I'm very sad to see this show go. But I am very much looking forward to Happily Ever After.
(Plus being a Disneyland local, I can still hear the gorgeous theme song of Wishes in the form of Remember Dreams Come True.)

Ha!! That is so funny! I just went this past week for the second time in Orlando, and the first time in 2013. And it wasn't a real person then! At we were pretty sure it wasn't! it looked so funny just flailing about. It almost looked like it was stuck.

Im at disney right now and yesterday they canceled the electrical parade causenof rain then they did it at 12:00 but we were asleep lol and we saw two high schools and one is from where we live :3

Were the fireworks loud at all when they blew up cuz some of them are not really that loud through the video cuz of the camera.
I wish they would update the show with the new projection effects they used for Celebrate the Magic.
To be honest, this is the most wonderful firework show j have ever seen...well the whole park experience. it is so beautiful and perfect. Beauty and the beast is my favorite movie of all time. Haha XD sucks that they are gojng to ruin it by making the live action one in 2017.

The fireworks were HORRIBLE for us. Long story short, we couldn't find anywhere to go and my mother ended up crying in stress and frustration. I recommend if your going to Disney world to not see them at all, for preserve a seat ahead of time (which we went Sparta enough to do) if I want anymore advice, I'll TOTALLY help ya. Have a happy trip! =3

You're crazy, I've been to both castles and wishes is a much better performance than Disneyland forever. So many people propose to wishes... especially at 9:56

Disneyland Forever will always have a place in my heart because I'm from SoCal, but nothing beats Disneyland Paris's "Disney Dreams!" fireworks show. It uses both projection and water works with its fireworks and it's just so beautiful!
Eh. I've seen the Disneyland Forever Fireworks Spectacular and as beautiful as it was, I still like Wishes because of the simplicity of it. I guess it all depends on your personal preference. I wouldn't be surprised though if they updated it come their 40th anniversary in a few years.
