The reason that the Türks and other Turkic nomads were formidable warriors was that they were horse-archers. A horse-archer specifically denotes a mounted warrior armed with a bow who can shoot from horseback while riding. The Turkic nomadic warriors as well as the Mongols used the composite bow, which was made of horn, wood, and sinew. The composite bow was more accurate and had a better range and rate of fire than muskets and early firearms. The tactical principles of the Turkic horse-archers were based on the combination of fire power and mobility. yhe nomadic horse-archers shot in volleys, weakening the enemy before they charged. Ideally, they practiced "fire power in movement" like modern armies.Other things being equal, the horse-archers were often almost unbeatable on the open battlefields. Against them, sedentary soldiers were often helpless until the development of efficient battlefield handguns, including the repeating firearms (the firearms that could be fired repeatedly before being manually reloaded) in the seventeenth century.

  • @papazataklaattiranimam
    @papazataklaattiranimam Год назад +4

In short, it is hard to think of any other ethnolinguistic entity in history that conquered so vast a territory and founded so many empires and states, also contributing to world civilizations. The history of the Turkic peoples was an important factor in world history for more than a millennium until the emergence of Europe as the world's dominant power. What happened in the Turkic world often affected the history of China, Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. One may also argue that world history began with the "Turko-Mongol" empire created by Chinggis Khan. In the contemporary world, Turkic-speaking nations form six states (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey/Türkiye) and several "autonomous" units in Russia (the republics of Chuvash, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Altai, Khakassia, Tuva, and Sakha) and China (the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region). Turkic peoples also reside as minority groups in several other countries, including Mongolia and Iran, among others. It would therefore be difficult to acquire a comprehensive understanding of world history as well as our present world without studying the history of the Turkic peoples.

Ooof! That was A LOT of work! But I did it! I got the whole song translated!
It was fun learning how to write it, say it, and know the differences between upper case letters from smaller case letters because that alone could change the entire translation! They have 8 vowels in their alphabet. Not all "'i's" are dotted. And that too can change the translation of the word or sentence.
This whole song is awesome. It's basically a very passionate and patriotic poem and it speaks on the history of the nation and how proud they are to be Kazakhs of their country because they had to fight for their independence and to be free.
There is only two times they repeat the same lines. The rest you have to follow as if a story is being told.
The lines they repeat are my favorite verses, "I am a rider, a wrestler, a hero of the country. I am a singer and a poet from the country. There is a flag in blue from a pedestal with a sturdy coat of arms that does not fall. There is solidarity with the Lord of Peace. It was established by the order of Khandik and Khakty."
As for the rest of the song, it is a lot to write but I leave you with this. After three similar but different translations of the title of the song, "Kazakh is a month"; "One month in Kazakh"; and "My Kazakh is the moon", i prefer the latter because it has a tone of endearment for their country which they echo the sentiment throughout the song.
I wish I could write more but I am honestly tired. It took me two hours to break down and write the entire song in English.
The written language of Kazakhstan has been written in Cyrillic script for a long time but they are currently trying to convert into the Latin alphabet. They primarily speak Turkish, Russian, Kazakh, and even some German.
If you look deeper at this country and other nations around it, they are trying to unify.

It will be (not accurate)“My Kazakh people”
The word “ai” here is not a actual word (if u know what I mean 😁)
      It’s kind of prefix.
      And gives another meaning

That's so horrible :( I understand you. I am Ukrainian and I always loved my native language, but my own Ukrainian parents mocked me for trying to speak Ukrainian :( They knew Ukrainian, but looked down at it. They prefered Russian and identified as Russians even tho they were both Ukrainians ethnickly.
I still cannot speak Ukrainian and feel ashamed of myself for both speaking Russian and being afraid to start speaking Ukrainian again.
Don't let anyone stop you! Your Turkic blood is calling you, so follow it ❤

@@Slava232 Aw thank you so much! Also don’t be ashamed! Ukrainians are born fighters. It’s in your blood. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, be very proud. Your parents are a sad result of their time & are lashing out over their own insecurities over a heritage that’s proudly bold that goes back centuries. Like you said it’s in my blood & my blood is a lineage of warriors. So we’re both fighters unashamed & going against the grain. Also as someone who spoke both Kazakh & Russian before learning English, I absolutely understand FULLY!!! Sister learnt my native tongue in both languages only to never speak it around me, so I’d forget. It worked & made me feel ashamed to not be able to speak my native language. She’s no longer in my life & I was able to verbally destroy her before she decided to disown me because I’m apparently evil, for saying no you can’t abuse me anymore. 😂
