Oh man just absolutely love your content!!!!!! Its like freaking gold man! In future, if possible can we have emulator content too? Like Making an NES emulator in c?
Thank you Norm, Im glad you like it. I can't say I know much about the Nes architecture but who knows, perhaps we'll emulate Nes and perhaps something else in the future. Take care, JB
Thank you CC, Im happy you like my stuff. Im not really great at Windows stuff but perhaps in the future. Meanwhile, install Cygwin and you will be able to compile and run most of my projects in windows. Take care, JB
@@dr-Jonas-Birch You don't have to make the entire x86 architecture. Moreover it's quite crappy. You can make something like an LC-3 on scale, or even similarity, if that is what you wanted.
Well I dont wanna put a buncha time into learning a new platform. And even if I only would need to implement 20 different x86 instructions it still would take the entire season. I explain every step etc so it doesnt go very fast. JB
Hi there Ananya, welcome to this channel. A good start would be ruclips.net/video/m9DgmhM93Pw/видео.html if you want a project. Otherwise check out the beginner course in the Tutorials playlist on the channel page. Take care, JB
Hi there X. When I wrote that game I noticed that it's very hard to make beginner projects because I havn't been coding in that style since I was half my current age. The code of that game doesn't look so good, even though it works. However, I'll try to do more beginner stuff and check this one out meanwhile: ruclips.net/video/rxQFQXf60r4/видео.html Take care, JB
In my college I have a full semester on networking, I just know the theoretical stuff, like definition wise only. can anyone provide me some guidance on how I can actually learn it.
Hi Rajan. A good way of learning the practical part of networking is by taking my top rated Udemy course on how to create a lab network. See www.udemy.com/course/virtual-ccna-lab-network/?referralCode=B85DDA5EEC291083BDA8 Take care, JB
@@dr-Jonas-Birch Since I'm a Cyber Security student, this project is gonna be great for me. It'll boost my skills, and once it's done, I can throw it on GitHub, which will be awesome and useful for future projects.
@@dr-Jonas-Birch I stumbled on this link for the Network Sim, so I am unfamiliar with your project. I was trying to work out what nm-naive does and noticed that function header returns the address of a local string.
@@FourWheelMotion Hi four. It's a network mapper, it maps up the structure of the network (hosts, services etc). If you check the video description there is a link to the first episode in the series I believe. JB

For your interest you can look into SystemC/TLM2.0 these are libraries which you can use to write emulations and simulations for entire SoCs

Thank you for the good content.
Could you please consider projects oriented Windows APIs in addition to those valuable projects ?
Thanks

@@dr-Jonas-Birch Btw, can you build a Virtual Machine from scratch?!
@@johnsteve1276 Yes I believe I would be able to, at least x86 emulation. But it's a huge project, too huge, it would take the whole season. JB

Hi there itscode, Im glad you like it. Have a great Sunday. JB
Do you think this project will be worth it if I make it, can you answer it as your prespective ?
Well the tool works really well and you will learn a lot of stuff, but only you can answer if a network simulator will be of any use to you. JB

@@dr-Jonas-Birch okay.
The target content is great. However, did we really have to watch you develop the tools? Couldn't you just post the final working version?
Thanks four. Well it's not really about the code. The important thing is that my watchers learn stuff. JB
