This is the first safi theme remix I see and I can see why, absolute banger, almost sounds like safi nova is fighting another elder, perhaps ALATREON or even fatalis, “the sapphire star’s last stand”
This is great man, love how you incorporated the heartbeat in it, and the craziness of this remix is crazy and hype as hell, especially with the Proof of a Hero at the end for the final phase. Awesome job!
I know this might be crazy, but here's what I've been thinking. Say the Alatreon that was in the Secluded Valley was lured there by a living Safi we don't know about. If this is the case, then our victory over Alatreon could have provided the bioenergy of a black dragon for that Safi to feed on, resulting in a simply unprecedented feast for it. Then say, after we slay Fatalis, it's mythical and supposed ability to regenerate from death kicks in sooner than usual, and something gives it the notion of which direction to fly in to find the very hunter that killed it. Something that's known to be able to lure Elder Dragons to the New World. As we all celebrate our historic triumph in the halls of either Seliana or Astera, a runner bursts through the doors, stammering to deliver some message. As he struggles in fear to utter the words, the wingdrakes about the place begin to panic, the skies darken, and a sense of dread washes over all present. Then the man finally gets the singular word out. "Fatalis!" Everything goes into full alert, screaming and terror fills the streets as the lesser hunters try desperately to evacuate the non-combatants, prepare the town for battle, and say their final prayers, but not our hunter. No, we hitch onto one of the panicked wingdrakes as we spot the Black Dragon cresting the horizon, we force ourselves into the air on an intercept course and fire our flares to grab the terror's attention. It works. Before we know it, our wingdrake has been shot down, and we are on the ground faced with a vengeful Fatalis, all too aware of what happened last time such a dreadful creature was vengeful. We fight with our all, but it knows us, it's seen how we fight, we've killed it once after all. Just as the likes of the Huntsman, the Commander, and any others present with the state of mind to help us buy time for the innocents of the base appear, the Fatalis pins us under its claws, directs its fiery maw at our heads, and prepares to incinerate us for daring to strike it down. Then we hear the Commander's voice shout something out across the battlefield. "INCOMING!" Suddenly something big slams down from the skies at full force into the Fatalis, knocking it off us and sparing our lives from such a terrible fate. We arise to see none other than a full fledged Safi'Jiiva donned in black scales clashing with the Black Dragon, defying the status of its opponent. You can see the hatred in the Fatalis' eyes, it sees this dragon as the pinnacle of arrogance to even consider challenging it, but cannot do away with it as quickly as other lesser creatures. They struggle, a battle unrivaled in all of recorded history, for no monster has ever been seen to stand against the likes of Fatalis before. An impossibility. Fatalis ignites his breath in an attempt to melt this insolent creature, but finds that it survived the attack. Another impossibility. Furthermore, the Safi'Jiiva's scales begin to glow brightly, like how we have seen its kind do before, but also like something else, like a creature that died in that faraway valley. Like Alatreon. At a moment's notice, the Safi'Jiiva shows that it has made good use of the Blazing Black Dragon's bioenergy in record time, and unleashes a horrifying laser torrent of elements from its jaws directly at another Black Dragon, and it hurts. One more impossibility from a species that before even today had a reputation for changing what the Guild considered possible. The Fatalis has enough of this disrespectful defiance, and lunges through the beam at the Safi'Jiiva's throat, grabbing it within its fangs. They thrash, Fatalis attempting to snap the neck of its foe, before the Jiiva lifts its claws behind its head and digs them into its own neck under the Black Dragon's razor fangs. It finds its grip. Suddenly, the Jiiva has forced the Fatalis' jaws open and off of it, and the eyes of the Black Dragon ignite with incomprehensible fury before being swiftly replaced with something altogether unbefitting of a creature of its status as the Jiiva begins to pour a stream of gaseous blue directly down its throat. A look of terror. Fatalis struggles, violently, the battlefield heaving below them, but it cannot escape the Jiiva's iron grasp. Fate has made its decision. A sapphire light falls from the jaws of the Safi, and the Fatalis finds its own jaws forcefully slammed shut by the Jiiva just as the star enters them, the hunters witness to this scrambling to get away. A bright light erupts, blinding all for a time. When the light dissipates and the dust settles, our hunter and all others looks up to see the simply unprecedented. Safi'Jiiva, standing tall before them, holding the smoldering corpse of that which ended Schrade by the jaw. A scarlet, draconic energy begins to flow forth from the Black Dragon into the Jiiva, and those present can almost hear what sounds like the Fatalis screaming as its energy, its power, its life are all claimed by what was once a "lesser creature". The body is thrown to the ground in front of us, discarded like leftovers, before this Jiiva, which has now gorged itself on the power of both an Alatreon and a Fatalis, gives us an evil, yet satisfied glare and flies off into the dark skies, unable to be followed. The so called God of All Monsters usurped, deicide before our very eyes, and the promise of the Jiiva that did the deed becoming something altogether worse with the unnatural power it has laid claim to. All hail the rise of Jiiva. Heaven and Earth will soon belong to it, and none other. {I read this on reddit a while back and found it an interesting story.}

Makes me wish there was a version of Safi/Fatalis whatever where Proof of a Hero and their theme played at the same time, really feels like humans struggling against the overwhelming apocalypse dragons
I think I’ll be first to admit, safi is indeed Smaug. I agree completely, but safi is 100x better than Smaug, the only reason? Sapphire of the emperor. Also beautiful safi x proof of a hero dude million o’ ten.
DuplEx it definitely screams final boss and to be honest it would go lovely for the inevitable Fatalis boss that I think is coming due to a little theory that safi isn’t an adult it’s adolescent and the final form is Fatalis they look too damn similar
@@crossfire4691 I'm not sure, didn't the elder dragons and Xeno have a sort of relationship like that? They'd go to him when they are dying and give the egg their bio energy. I imagine a dragon like Safi would require ALOT more energy to evolve, over it's juvenile self. You know? And what else has all that energy? A black dragon. I could be so wrong but it's fun to guess.
There's a bunch of theories. One I believe can be accurate is that Alatreon was there to destroy the Safi'Jiiva nest, judging by the cutscenes of him freezing the remaining eggs and destroying them

I appreciate the last part but imo it should have been something for a final Iceborne boss. Proof of a hero marks the end of a journey and using it on a monster so early on is kinda of a shame, still nice tho!

I think Safi is somehow possible in solo. It's extremely grindy however. The levels energy save up from hunt to hunt and the monster isn't too aggressive to make it impossible for a solo player. The only problem is that Safi is already by default a grindy monster, doing it solo just makes the process 3 times more tideous
