Is it me or does she look like she has a slight black eye? 😮
ASMR has multiple schools of thought.
I find your voice superb. As is your pacing.
But the frequent end syllable loud click defeats the soothing nature of your work.
Interesting comment-one that made me quickly check some of her other videos, as well as one or two from other ASMRtists that I follow. I find that if you listen for it, upon noticing it, it can become a bit like basketball shoes on a gym floor-becoming harder to hear anything else-especially if the underlying speech volume is low and the pace on the slower end, which is true here. In other videos of hers and other ASMRtists it’s much less distinct. I even tried my own voice. It seems to be tied to certain consonant sounds (particularly d, k, p, t) more-so than end-of-syllables, and if the rate of speech and volume picks up it starts to blend in. One’s accent seems to be a factor as well.
I have a similar experience with glove sounds, especially the putting on or taking off parts, which can be quite poppy or snappy, but Treasury I think knows this and skips those parts and/or smooths them out.
Sorry for the long reply. This kind of thing fascinates me. Take it easy my friend.
Thank you for the feedback Miguel! I'm aware that some enjoy these sounds and others don't. They aren't always intentional and some mics also pick them up more than others. I'm still playing around with my audio settings and my voice to find what I think works best :)
