Will this system help me get good water for shrimps ?? I don’t even have a tank , I’m just trying to gain as much info for whenever I get to have my own tanks.
Awesome Video! I just purchased a system from NuAqua. MY package got lost in transit with FedEx. NuAqua was quick to send me another system and handle everything with Fedex on their end. Would highly recommend this company.
I'm in SW Minn and the water is basically liquid rock (TDS >1200!!!), so I've been looking at RODI systems -- appreciate your in-depth review!!! FWIW: James at Fish Room Fever just did a review of this system, too, I think...if they're courting fishkeppers, I'll support them when I buy. :)
Nice Tom On my ro/di system i have the one from the filter guys -bought many years ago they are retired about 5 years now. I have 1-sediment-2-chloramine filters-2-membranes-2-di filters. It does 150 gallons per day with a 1-1 ratio from bad water to good water. Have a great day Joe H Navy Seabee
Hello, thanks for all of your videos. They are much appreciated! What tds do you shoot for with your corys? Im here in hopkins mn and my tap water parameters are just about the same as yours. 15% tap may be close? im going to be purchasing a tds pen soon. what are your thoughts? Looking forward to more of your videos. Thanks in advance. 🐟🐟🐟👍👍👍
the amount of fish i have killed just adding pure RO hurts :( what is your tds after adding your tap water to your RO revivor? and do you automate tap water back in?
Just bought my New Aqua RO/DI unit. Thanks for the excellent review
Thanks. I am unboxing mine today, to use on my plants. Hope it'd ad good as they boast. Its cool that you can interchange the filters

Looks like a nice product. RO is invaluable when breeding

Good video, I do use D/I because I have nitrates in my tap.
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge
Thanks for the review and info 👍
So if you have Seachem Prime or Seachem Safe, you would not think tou can breed plecos as good?
Wow! You have crappy water like So Cal! I just bought a NuAqua too:) So far so good.
very nice Tom I still need to invest in a RO unit.👍

I try to keep my Corydoras tanks around 100 TDS.
I guess you are not doing the live streams, one and done?
is the di resin refillable of do you have to buy a new cartridge?
When you said that you mix your tap water with RO instead of using a remineralize powder, is it four parts tap to one part RO?
I'm guessing it's the other way around.
Is the actual ro filter cartridge made by Dow?

Gotta remineralize. I add enough tap water to reach 125-130 TDS for my plecos. A little lower for the Corydoras.
@@TMAquatics Dechlorinate it first?
@@bobby_au The RO removes chlorine.
nice information thanks for sharing
Thumbs up

Ayy I’m first
So 4-1….? 4 parts RO water 1 part tap water???? Or the other way around?, 4parts tap to 1part RO?
Great video bud, great info right here!
i’m still tryna figure this out 😭
