  • 350mm across
    550mm depth
    Height 150mm
    Fireball 150*110mm
    110 psi of smoke
    The meat made the fire.
There's a lot of similar video on RUclips, so I'm going to have to watch the video.
There's a slight drawback, but the firepower is really great.
I bake pork belly at the end of the video.
It's a plate with the ability of ten people to bake without scarcity

As you are using mostly steel, instead of painting it , try copying the approach used with carbon steel fry pans or woks. Season it by using an appropriate oil on the stove, letting it cure with the initial fire. The oxidation/rust will be inhibited and spilled food will be easier to remove.

Wow, what a great concept! Are you showing this because it is easy to build, that it is inexpensive, or that it is available to people everywhere (or all)? What do the materials cost?

    • @dannyc7659
      @dannyc7659 4 года назад

Total cost should just be the steel materials when the entire costs of the workshop is excluded. If not, it would be quite costly.

Can you make an afterburner rocket stove by welding an cilinder pipe inside a square pipe please?
The heat air flowing in the gaps will burn the fumes exaled completing the combustion of the fuel and making a more eficient stove.

Great job man, Im building one of these before winter, only change i will make is possibly some firebrick inside and about 30 inch tubes to stick over the bolt legs for when there no place to put it on something.
Not sure i would eat anything directly off the grill though, that blueing agent on factory steel that prevents rust from living may also prevent you from living a long happy life ;-)

Hello and thanks for the good video...what do you mean with 110 psi of smoke? Does it smoke out of the chimney? I have built a rocket stove and still have some problems with smoke. How long is the chimney?

    • @mansoolee3
      @mansoolee3  3 года назад +1

The stovepipe you use is 1.2 meters.
If the smoke doesn't come out, connect it long.
If the stovepipe is too small, it will backfire.

    Interesting/novel design; thank you........But I failed to notice a
critical design element; when you first light it how did the fire "know"
to flow sideways around to the chimney, where the draft direction would
become self sustaining. Instead you appear to violate the law of
gravity and have the initial hot light gases flow side ways to the
chimney rather than up into the natural heat/draft column at the fuel
insertion hole........There are a couple of fixes.
    1/ Paint the
chimney heat resistant dead black so that any available heat source
applied to the chimney: the sun, your body heat, a burning stick of your
fuel, possibly even a good Ronson lighter will encourage the internal
air flow to head the right direction.
2/ Make a plunger more or less
the length of the chimney (perhaps from an appropriate sized tin can or
    tin can lid, a piece of 3/16"copper tubing, and a 3/16 x 1" pointed
screw; now drill a small hole in the center of the can lid, then it
screw to the tubing's end . You now have an effective way of changing
the direction of air flow after starting the fire by pulling up to
change the air flow, further, you are not consuming any more storage
room as the plunger can be stored in the chimney when the stove is not
    in use.
    .
