Since I got my 8 Qt IP in January, I have been experiementing with the different ways to cook for HB eggs. Finally, this recipe is the best for me although I did use cold water in place of her hot water this time. Also previous attempt at 8 min. wasn't as good because I used a higher egg stand. This time was perfect even though the cold bath was only five minutes by a goof. Another thing is I use large pasture raised eggs which are brown and have water between the egg and shell so water runs out of the shell when peeling the shell. That's kind of a pain, but who is to complain when the egg itself is perfect. 😊 My past tries: 5-5-5; 6min instant release; 7 min instant release and another with slow release. Now have accomplished goal.
I do not know how hot the water is going to get but I'm sure it will not get as hot as you are. I know you probably hear this every day but you are such a beautiful woman!
