Loved this video. Never knew about the mushrooms. Definitely miss the persimmon tree at the farm back home, it's been gone many years now.

Thanks Silv! Lots of good memories made around an old persimmon tree.

When I was a young lad, I tried and tried to learn to whistle but couldn't seem to master it. One day I was mowing an old man's lawn and asked him if he could show me how to whistle. He said, see that tree in the yard with all the green balls hanging on it, go pick one and take a bite out of it. Well it was an unripened persimmon, and boy did it make my mouth pucker, enough that I was able to make a little whistle. That taste is one I'll never forget!

Our Forest is littered with mushrooms like that. I am not educated enough for me to decide it I should eat it or not. Come on down Tony get all you want! Love my Persimmons though! Good one I’ll see you on the next one!

Thanks Dan, lots of goodies out there if you know when, and what to look for.. when it comes to mushrooms, you can't be too careful! When in doubt, toss it out! Thanks for the kind words!
