It's so simple to get into this album. All the old head boom bap types ain't realize that when gunn and griselda flows on classic daringer etc, it is always 1-2 tracks max. That sound gets stale af

Only Conway & Benny know how to rap on trap beats, Gunn has no idea and he goes off beat on it. He could've just made a few trap songs, but nah it had to be the whole album. I'm not an old head, but I was tapped into Griselda like early 2018 so I'm not saying I hate him for trying something new, but I don't think it suits bro that's all.

Honestly I discovered Westside Gunn thru Pro Wrestling Via MVP From The Hurt Business tracc & been a fan since. So 2 years now. Plus again I'm from the south so artists like Trick Daddy, UGK, Three 6 Mafia, Young Jeezy is what I grew up listening to and for now to hear The Flygod on those type of beats. I personally like it. Also love the grimy buffalo style of beats he raps on as well. Reminds me of early 90s Wu Tang, Mobb Deep, Nas kinda raps I personally expect to hear from a New Yorker. Not someone biting our style. But that's a different conversation for a other time
