As much as Stax is a hated archetype in the format, just like LD, I got to admit I was looking forward to seeing how this one took shape. Stax is one of those decks that sometimes you just need to play, since you know what they always say - "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villian" and Stax makes you sure you will be around long enough to do the latter. The extra taxing with Hokori is a great way to help lock everyone down from being able to cast things. Also feel a card like Approach of the Second Sun doesn't see the love it should in EDH, so this is a sweet alt win con. Always need to root for the deck built in the video, but a little partial towards the Vorinclex. That one is a beast. Never played against Anje. Breya is a dirty dirty thing, have played against that and it was powered up a bit and just does work. Another great game Zach, even if you didn't get the W. Yeah, stax is a bit of a boogeyman for the format. But now I can say I’ve played stax and land destruction on the channel so that’s an accomplishment, I guess? I've been listening to these while driving and this is the first board wipe I've seen you use in like 10+ games
I always run board wipes but they don’t come out often. Usually there’s only 2-3 in a deck.
