Although gaslight is my favorite, I do enjoy this blend as well. A slightly milder profile. I am a very unrepentant Lat fan. G.L. Pease never fails in that regard.
My man in Washington! Happy to see you trying this. I don’t get the hype but it has its time and place. It’s special for sure but not worthy of the mystique, in my humble opinion. I love that Ashton so frickin much dude. I want one just like yours. I’d love a poker but I love that color, level of rustication, and the green and yellow variegated stem just blows me away. If you ever want to sell or trade………
I know your not really a meerschaum guy, but I bought an old cutty meer that is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. I had bought Spark Plug because that seemed to be the type of tobacco that would have been smoked out of it. Needless to say it has become one of my 3 favorites along with Black House and Plum Pudding Special Reserve. I had a feeling you would like it.
But a very loose plug that you can almost break off and rub out by hand, so in my mind, almost cake. Maybe it should be called a "plake." This is definitely a firmer plug than Gaslight, but looser than Jackknife.
Ok so I love gaslight. Originally, when I tried this I did not like it. Strange. But I let it settle. I'm trying it now its . 1 year in the after the tin date. Its amazing now. Crazy. Maybe it needs time for some people. I will buy more and age for the future
Excellent blend but far from the best, Gaslight is much better in my opinion. I Enjoy all your vids especially guitar and T reviews…thanks again Bradley
Prefer Spark Plug to Gaslight. Has a lot of savory character that comes out with age. One of the few heavy Latakia blends that I am never dissatisfied with.
Hi, Bradley. This is a request. I recently tried Sutliff's Match 20, which is their version of 965. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this, as if nothing else, it is a beautiful blend. Take care.
Jackknife contains Dark Fired Kentucky. I'm guessing Spark Plug does not? Also, what knife are you using for cutting plugs? All I've got is a cheap kitchen knife that is a pain in the neck to use.
SP did nothing for me. Reviews are skewed in my view until 50 or so people on TR review a blend - otherwise, you get the always positive fanboys (girls) who love to get likes.
"There's something..." Thanks, Bradley! :)
Probably my all time favorite blend. Bold, deep, rich, like Gaslight but with a dollop of sweetness riding on top.
Although gaslight is my favorite, I do enjoy this blend as well. A slightly milder profile. I am a very unrepentant Lat fan. G.L. Pease never fails in that regard.
I love gaslight too. I was just talking with him about how stellar it is
I really enjoy your pipe tobacco reviews.

Suggestion - you should try this in your clay pipe - Latakia blends really shine in clay. I'm a fan of sparkplug, it's good stuff.
That’s a beautiful brownie! I do have Gaslight, haven’t tried this one…
Interesting blend! May have to pick some up.
That Ashton has taken on some nice coloring!
Best smoked riding in your MGTD on a spring day.

Looks great. I hope that I can order tins to S Africa.
You should review some purple cow by c&d I think you will enjoy it!
Gaslight IS a plug. I guess I'm going to try this though.Gaslight and Jack knife are my favorite GLP blends I've tried so far.

Still like Gaslight much better but this is a nice blend.
This makes me want to pop open the tin I have tonight. I have some Gaslight too I've never tried. Jackknife Plug is one of my favorite blends.
Jack knife is the bomb. Totally different from gaslight and spark plug though.
Gaslight is definitely tasty too

Mike from Ohio is a legend
I've had a plug of this jarred up for a year. Breaking it out at my pipe club meeting tonight.
Hi Sir - How did it age for you ?
Any chance you got your hands on a tin of Savinelli 145°? VaPer with 2x fermented DFK. Reminds me of my all time favorite blend, Sansepolcro.
Excellent blend but far from the best, Gaslight is much better in my opinion. I Enjoy all your vids especially guitar and T reviews…thanks again Bradley
I swear i thought i saw this video 3 days ago and i did add it 2 days ago to my next t list, btw enjoyed the video and hated the squeaky chair.

Spark plug is a Latakia blend
Great video
What is your favourite English that is always available?
Gaslight is definitely a plug
How's the Nic hit on it?
I've had Gas light. I think I had Spark Plug, I believe.
Tobacco reviews considers Gaslight a plug.. just not as tight as 3p's
SP did nothing for me. Reviews are skewed in my view until 50 or so people on TR review a blend - otherwise, you get the always positive fanboys (girls) who love to get likes.
Absolutely not worth the hype. I’m stuck with tins I’ll dump as trade fodder.
Still have available? Would be in retested in trading
its mediocre at best and mega over hyped
