I can totally relate to the Sunday hair wash thing. I used to cry while my mom combed through my curly hair and she would put half a bottle of hair oil to tame the flyaways and braid it as tight as she could. I can never forget those Sunday horrors. Still give me chills lol

Dude my mom toh she used to wonder why my hair is so dirty. They were not ready to be tamed at all. She didn't know that curly hair is a hair type. Unko abhi bhi yehi lagta hai ki straight hair is the one and only natural god given type. She thinks curly hair are achieved through chemicals or heat. 😂

I am someone who always had beautiful straight hair but after my son was born, I suddenly developed curls- some bizarre hormone play I guess 😂. Apparently, this is not too uncommon.

@@nehasingh2515 I was straight haired guy till 28. I shaved my head to slow hair fall. When my hair grew back, it became very curly. It’s 3b hair type now and it’s very difficult to manage. It’s been 9 months and I still miss my straight silky smooth hair🙁
The hardest thing about having my curls is I have to plan an entire day for washing hair. Previous day pre-poo/oiling. Next day shampoo, condition, leave in, serum etc. And wait 8 hours for drying 😂

Oh my… love the way Tapsee described her in class experience, with her curly hair. Mine wasn’t so bad but my curly hair did earn me the nickname of “Maggie Noddles”. Hated my curly hair growing up but now as I am older & wiser, and see all my straight hair friend battle hair loss and scanty hair issues, I am greatly for my genetics that blessed me with thick and curly hair, whose volume hasn’t ever made me feel like I am loosing hair or going bald.

@@himaninainwal5761 apply mustard oil for one hour or half an hour ache se champi karke then use shampoo. Comb your your before washing it. Also apply the water that's left after cooking rice. Use henna once a month or twice or thrice a month. Don't blow dry your hair.

It's all on the mood of my hair..somedays it's curly , somedays it's wavy. I've never been able to figure out the actual texture of my hair.

All suggested me to try smoothening, get straightening etc. I used to feel bad about my short curly hair. As I grew up, my sister told me that I am beautiful and have good hair. Then I got confident at age of 27 about my hair and further used many ways to keep them good. Today at age of 33 when I observe 1: 15 ratio of curly: straight, I feel unique and content. Love my curls and never use comb. 😘

Earlier I combed my hair, and have done tight buns, but then I heard that you should never comb your hair rather remove your tangles only using fingers after conditioning your hair. I left combing at very good age. I have just started using onion mask by mamaearth, it's good to soften your waves. But I will definitely reply you whether it is controlling hairfall or not which it claims.

1- oiling
2- shampoo (no sulphates for me - only CG)
3- condition/deep condition ( I do deep conditioning depending on what my hair needs. Sometimes I need protein hair masks and sometimes I need hydration) I don't deep condition when I oil my hair.
4-leave-in conditioner
5-curling cream
6-style it with a Denman brush
7-seal everything with a gel

@@sweetysachar5 depends on your hair type i.e., low, high or medium porosity. I like using fix my curls (shampoo, conditioner, leave in and gel) , wow apple cider shampoo and conditioner, Shea Mositure deep conditioning hair masks.

My hair is exactly like hers... so I believe what she says. Its difficult to find your product. Arnica oil works for me rather than olive oil. And conditioning is a must.

I used to always wear my hair in braid to clg, shopping wherever I go due to tangling issue. So, whenever people see my raw hair for the first time, which is super curly, they used to be like is that your original hair or did you have any treatment? I used to be like, why would I get my hair curled to a normal day at college? Also, my frnds used to stretch my hair and it used to curl up as soon as they leave it. To tame my curly hair when I wash my hair I focus on cleaning scalp rather than hair....so the oil left in the middle lengths is not sticky oily but helps in retaining the moisture and is helpful in retaining the curls

Naturally I got a curly hair.I did a straightening 1 yr back as its hard to maintain my curly hair and its sooo frizzy.but when natural curly hair grows with the straight hair now its having kind of wierd look.so decided not to do hair straightening though I hate my curls.I have tried everything before to define my curls.I have applied various curling products .but it give results only for few minutes.once ur wet hair dries the curls go offf.im fed up of trying now
i have long curly hair i think its the easiest to manage eg. oil before wash, after wash use good good quality conditioner i use herbal essences and then no comb and let them dry with fresh air thats all i do. i cant count how many complements i get. but i m blessed to have beautiful hair.
