To enhance your gaming experience on Steam Deck, you can pair your PS5 controller to Steam Deck. The Steam Deck allows you to pair your PS5 controller to enjoy the gaming experience.
You need to ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Steam Deck
Press the Steam button on Steam Deck
Tap on Settings
Tap on Bluetooth
Tap on the toggle icon beside Bluetooth to enable it

Your PS5 controller can only pair with one device at a time. If you want to use it with another device, you'll need to unpair it from the current device and pair it with the new one. This is stated in the official documentation: "Your controller can be paired with only one device at a time. Each time you change devices, you must pair the controller with the new device."

Can confirm Dualsense adaptive triggers and vibration work on the Steamdeck. However, you must connect via wire and make sure it's not connecting through bluetooth. It worked best for me if I don't turn on the controller, plug it in through the USBc and then turn on the Steamdeck with it plugged in. Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart has full adaptive haptic support on Steamdeck this way.

It seems like you're having trouble connecting your PS5 controller to your Steam Deck. Let's try to troubleshoot the issue.
First, make sure that your Steam Deck's Bluetooth is enabled. To do this, go to your Steam Deck's settings menu, and then navigate to the Bluetooth settings page. Ensure that Bluetooth is toggled on.
Next, put your PS5 controller into pairing mode. To do this, press and hold the PS button and the Share button at the same time until the lights on the controller start flashing.
Now, go back to your Steam Deck and search for available Bluetooth devices. Your PS5 controller should appear in the list. Select it to start the pairing process.
If you're still having trouble, try restarting your Steam Deck and your PS5 controller, and then try pairing them again.
