Mr. Green, what kind of mic do you use for this wonderful sound? How much do I need to ivest approximately for mics and sounds (speakers, etc) to produce some home quality recordings (only for home use for me). I have an active 15 inch speaker (brand is "Alto') and several mics Shure PG48, PG58, SM57, etc). Thanks, Juan Gomez
Hello Juan! In all honesty, I don't use external speakers for my recording/listening with sax recordings. I only use headphones. The mic I use is a simple Snowball Blue USB mic. It's a dynamic mic that isn't too expensive. I purchased mine many years ago from the apple store. I just looked online and see an new one at Best Buy for $49.99 ($34.99 on eBay). Wen pushing my synths I use simple home stereo speakers (old pair of Jensen speakers that I bought from a yardsale Model 2652). I try to spend as little money as possible :-) I hope his helps?
