I never thought that I would watch a 40 minute video about an anime that I haven't even seen, but this video felt so great and personal. Another banger, Energy! I def gotta check out this series at some point
I love this series, its still one of my absolute favourite stories. I watched it when the anime first aired, post dropping out of uni and a world ending breakdown. Seeing someone recover and gently be understood, to thrive with kind understanding people, brought me so much comfort. Especially the middle school bullying arc, with Rei giving back the warmth, kindness, support and understanding he has been shown by being an especially gentle and consistent support to all the hinamoto sisters. Not least for being kindred spirits hurting , both for him and his family and the sisters and their mum and grandmother. I really hope the manga is brought over and translated officially to English one day.
this video was really personal and interesting, although i haven’t seen sangatsu no lion yet i was blown away with the way you were able to make it seem so good. i’m also surprised with how deep of a story it is, its been on my planned list for like 3 years because i thought it was just another slice of life like you but after watching this video i think i’ll watch it when i get the time. it takes balls to speak about personal things like this, especially on a youtube video. keep up the great stuff bro.
Video came out at such a perfect time I've been rewatching Sangatsu for the past few months slowly... Only watching a episode when I needed one And yesterday I actually decided to finally put it has my #1 anime

I thought A Silent Voice was too direct with its message so now I’m more interested in this. Almost done with Houseki no Kuni now. Are you by any chance a fan of Masaaki Yuasa (Tatami Galaxy, Ping Pong, Mind Game, etc.)?

I loved Tatami Galaxy, haven’t had the chance to check out Ping Pong yet by it’s most definitely on my list.
