What a treat, glad you had fun! Top notch crew there. I'm sure they're already on your radar, but a trip up through Canada would be cool. Buckin', Reg, Pat @ Educated Climber, Dan @ Climbing Arborist... be an awesome loop up through there.
That was an exellent Video Jake. Thanks to August , Damien, and yourself for showing those great Face Cuts, and Back Cuts. Ive learned alot from you,and deeply appreciate all your educational Videos. That undercut was as perfect as they get on the Tree August Cut down. Might have to watch this one again. Thanks Jake.
This was an awesome wrap on this collaboration. Happy for all of you and thank you. If I had a million dollars... I wouldn't buy you acting lessons. Stick with what your good at, treework passion and having fun with cool people.
Great work, Jacob. This is so worthwhile and you seem to have pretty good judgement in comrades/collaborators. This video (and outtakes) brought multiple smiles to me.
Great series! Come to the northeast. With every single ash tree being killed by the Chinese beetle in the past year, there’s tons of tree work. Local guys can’t keep up.
Another awesome video jake, thank you so much! You basically single handedly got me into tree cutting. August is a blast to watch and learn from as well. And I love that he's wearing a shirt of our army haha :D Greetings from Switzerland and stay safe!
You do amazing work! Loved seeing the twinsies fall! I like how you are soaking up the advice August gives you. Your videos are great! Keep up the good work!
Dude !! The first 20 seconds of you adn August talking was my entire climbing experience with my first mentor , " I would climb this but my spikes aren't sharp yours are " "It's a good learning experience " " this thing has been through ice and wind storks yoyr fine " Love it 🤣
Awesome experience and great guys to work with!! I’m new to these videos and enjoying every one so far.August the legend i now see after watching his skills. That triple loop rigging setup was just incredible!!! Thanks again!!
I did climb many of those dead ones...thats when i was called for....energy power lines involved....sometimes i request the power line to be taken down...there was no option...to avoid electric poles to be yank... 😁✌️
I dream about cutting trees, in my sleep. Wake up and watch you drop some danger trees, at 4:30 am. As soon as the suns coming up. Im heading out to feed cattle and drop some trees
I always wrap My trow ball with electric tape...kind of making it harder shape like a lil tube....flies higer and gets stuck less un the forks....bounces much better...we used to do magic tricks with the trow ball...we Even had competitions....😁✌️
@@GuiltyofTreeson a fallow up video on what all transpired since you left east side might be a smart move as a lot of us are curious on what happened with that fiasco
Thanks for your videos. I have been enjoying all of them so far. 1 saw I would like to see you look at is a bow saw. I always heard them referred to as pulpwood saws, and would see them quite often in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Never understood what they were about.
Stoked to see you two colab!! Been following you both for a long while now and am always at least entertained and every once in a while get educated. Z rig (z drag) is a 3:1 mechanical advantage. 100# of force in gets you 300# pulling power. Put Damien to it and I bet he could pull the world as long as you give him some coffee.
August, Damien ,and Jacob you guys are super men in my book. Good comradery and handsome men. All need to go to Hollywood! Love you much and many prayers for you and yours.
I got hit by a 2” branch 10ft long just walking behind me garage. It made me see stars and almost knocked me down just with the weight that hit my shoulder and i had to focus hard to stay upright. It fell somewhere less then 40’. I can’t imagine being hit by one of those bark chunks.
treework has always been my dream, to the point I'D guess my 1st spokeen word was probably "T I M B E R", adolescent me wanted to be a lumberjack. Now 44 yo, me watches many tree removal videos on RUclips. i can be up at crack of dawn, have my Coffee, & go start cutting trees.
Howdy Jacob, another great video....does August know you took his content? Enjoy the camaraderie you had with all the folks at Monkey Beaver Inc. The outtakes and bloopers made me laugh with you all. Wishing you and yours well as you continue the new journey life has you on. Anticipation is high for your next video please don't keep us waiting.... Have A Day ! ;~)
Hey Jake! Love your videos, I was wondering if youve ever discussed your limb saws or made a video about them? I know it'll probably boil down to something like "buy a folding silky" but you have a great way of explaining your gear choices and your thoughts behind them. Thanks for the entertainment and education!
Looks like a real deal hazard tree.. A Widowmaker . I think you would have been better off getting a pro blaster in with 2 charges of c 4, with sandbags stacked in a circle around it to contain flying chunks . .
Enjoy being with your family. But I would suggest when it is time for you kids to go to school. Idaho or at the very least eastern Washington. The have you kids to be proud of America. Now that's said your road trip was awesome. To see you in action and show what other companies are doing. Meeting with hard working tree guys. Thanks for the hard work of giving us great videos at same time being a father and husband. 👍🇺🇲🦺🪓🪚🧹
I've tried to get you in south Portland... It's a little shitty right now weather wise... Maybe you can set something up with logger wade and good ol' Steve Billows. That'd be cool. (They have no conifers) and everything is 70' or shorter... Plus they fell everything. Go learn a mid west face cut on a huge red oak or mid west hardwood... Poplar.

Too much fun!!

the bloopers had me crying
The blooper reel was awesome. Actors Guild Cards for the whole crew !
when I use my pole pruner, I keep it in contact with the branch to push/guide it away from Me , kind of like martial arts with sticks, "Bojutsu"
