@@Monastiraki2022 Yes, both are bad. For the record I think Immolate is substantially less bad since it's at least interesting and doesn't necessarily end the game on the spot, but multiple things can be bad at the same time. Hell, in the current state of the game almost everything is bad!
@@Monastiraki2022 that's just a dumb argument. As someone already told you why I won't bother, but I do think that immolate is worse for the game. It just destroys every slow deck. I'd change it, so it only destroys combo and combo alone. Smite isn't fun at all, but there is counterplay against nelly. I don't think being able to discover him is a problem, it's just that he exists. He should also apply -1 atk to all pirates and be a tagless card himself. Switcheroo had potential to be fun if they just changed cost instead of stats, but thanks to neptulon, that's now broken too. I have played a lot of games today and pretty much every game was a 10mana game, which makes me happy, so immolate being the card it is, really is a bad thing for hearthstone, unless it is 6mana and destroys in 4 turns and therefore solely for combo decks. And I don't care at all if you are a warlock player that just likes to tick and immolate. It's just not fun.

Regarding Fyrestone: Wouldn't it make sense for them to make an indicator for showing how many turns it takes until your opponents handcards are burned? I am aware that there is already a visual indicator in gane but having an actual number is always useful imo.
Hearthstone isn't that complicated. Just count the turns. Jesus christ. Like there's nothing wrong with deck trackers but you people just want every part of the game to hold your hand so you can sit on the toilet and rope every turn anyway. No need to pay attention to the game when my wonderful decktracker will do it for me.

@@pwl2992 That warlock deck needs to draw its one-of immolate and play it early enough for it to matter. Its other disruption tools are not nearly as consistent. Combo decks can have protection against Dirty Rat by keeping useless minions in hand. Gnomeferatu actually got buffed with the advent of Dredge effects, but you can play around it. Without Dredge it needs to get lucky to burn a combo piece.

Even a normal curve would be hard to follow if your win condition just gets swooped up because of that. You probably don't know how unfun it is to even just play against tick, but now this? Nah. I just played combo once. You wanna know why? Because warlocks are the worst of the worst when it comes to tech and therefore should all die before they can play anything. Pushing warlock with that and abyssal curses just makes me wonder why I even play hs. Why do we even need cards above 7mana ehrn they're just waiting to get immolated, why do we need 6mana cards, when we lose at 6mana? I sometimes wonder if the game ever went in the right direction for once...
@@rltt379 Pretty much why people like Lifecoach quit, the actual strategy element is pushed out, in favour of mindless 4 turns strategy to throw anything in your hand at your opponent's face. Stuff like Pirate Warrior and Quest Hunter just ruined the game for me and I only play to finish up my quests for the sake of staying in the game. But the problem is, Wild as a format is just dead beyond repair, unless they start mass-banning cards. Almost no games go past turn 5, and most of the opponents I meet don't even know what to mulligan, they just win because of aggro's bizzare value and ease of playability. Blizz won't listen to the community on any of their games, though, and that won't change much most likely. It's sad to see a good game be reduced to this, they probably plan to sell character skins for aggro players to make profits from now on.
@@Enja_Near you underestimate power of this. 1) you can "prepare" for next turn (it doesn't say "this turn"; 2) it also kills a minion - which is great if you must trigger it immediately (such as when you must clear the board to survive or avoid heavy damage)

In terms of Dane decks, he doesn't want his big minions to die, and backstab provides more versatility while still being able to pop a sheep, making shattershambler not that great.

I recommend to not assume other people make certain assumptions :)

Shattershambler only enables that if you do it in between the target deathrattle and the cube, so it doesn't actually save any mana; it's maybe a slightly cheaper but less flexible alternative to that 3/4 that activates deathrattles instantly.
Something tells me that Firestone shouldn't tell you Shudderwock got burned if you can't see it otherwise. Isn't this bordering on cheating? Not accusing you, Dane. I mean on the devs end from Firestone. Or immolate should clearly display what card got burned in the card history on the left of the hearthstone UI or show it in an animation. Kinda wild! 10:20 is a good ecample of what I mean

If that was just an anti combo card, then sure I like it, but then it could just be 6mana 4turn destruction. And that would make hearthstone a slightly better game

It's a BS card indeed. As a Reno control mage, that card was played against me on turn 4, I instantly conceded with my hand full of 7+ mana cards, including Jaina hero card, Yogg, Yogg's Puzzle Box, etc.. Just not fun to play against.

There're cards which pulls out your minions from your hands and getting eaten if that legendary murloc is used. Also there're cards which drag out spells from the opponent's hand. So yeah, dude, from that perspective, combo decks are fucked since Naxcramas and it's deathlords.
The penalty is a card,4 mana and having to wait for 3 turns before it does anything, also autoloosing you a lot of times if you have a dead raw vs aggro
Or using techcards yourself... If your opponent is allowed to play a 4 mana do nothing card AND you have no finley AND you can only win 1 way, is this not the same as dirty rat, tickatus, gnomferatu burning your only wincondition, only you can react to it for 3 turns beforehand?
