Thanks for bringing a band to my attention that I had never heard of, but really like the sound of... I shall investigate further to see if there is yet another rabbit hole I am about to fall into at the ripe old age of 68......

      Yes! They're insanely talented.
Saw them live last year & it was the best concert I've ever been to. Imma see them in 4 months on their new tour in UK & Germany! Cannot wait!

A little correction: Japanese people don't have difficulties pronouncing "l"s, the language simply does not distinguish between them. don't wanna get very nerdy but let's put it this way: you can simply say that L and R don't exist in Japanese. They have a similar sound, called an apico-alveolar tap [ɾ], which has a placement in the mouth somewhere between l and r. For lack of a better letter, we transcribe it as [r] in romaji. Japanese people simply do not hear the differences between l and r for this reason and thus may mispronounce them in English. Most languages have vastly different sounds than English does and the latin letters are simply not able to capture these sounds. That's why there is an international phonetic alphabet that has symbols for every sound. This is why sometimes you can here Taka (the lead singer) slip as well, even though he has lived in the US for many years now and his English is good.
They frequently tour the US, they opened for Muse, and they also held a solo tour. If you like heavier pieces, Cry Out and Deeper Deeper, Mighty Long Fall might be your best bets. They have a variety of genres within rock, ranging from pop punk to alternative rock and anything in between. To see the vocalist's true power, check out Take What You want Ambition Tour Japan Dome 2018 performance, it's shivers. For a more funky vibe, check out Mad World or Neon. For heartbreakingly beautiful songs, check out Your tears are mine. They also have acoustic jam sessions, there some of my favorites are Mighty Long Fall, Vandalize and Wasted Nights. Taka has covered Adele a couple of times, Hello and Easy on me, that's also something you should check out because it's just goosebumps. This dude is a world class singer. His parents are actually very famous singers in Japan, so I guess it just flows in his veins. :))
Thank you for your reactions to OOR.

I’ve seen them once in Colorado and twice in Texas. They first started to perform in the US 10 yrs ago, being a part of warped tour. Now they have their own album tours. Hope you find more songs of their’s that you like!

Hello! They do come to the states. They were here in 2022. They catered to all types of rock. It is Fran upon because they can be quite pop and heavy at the same time. They are amazing live. If you follow their social media you can see when they are touring here. They did a world tour that lasted over 2 years. I would recommend
Mighty long fall both live and acoustic
When they turn the lights on
    Clock strikes
    The beginning
    One by one
    Lier
    Let me let you go
    To start with.
Thank you for your reaction ❤

We welcome you as a new OORer 😁 Yes! Their live performance is much better than the studio ver. They have musical diversity. Hard rock, emo rock, ballad, pop and so on. Sometimes you can feel Linkin Park, Queen, Ed Sheeran in it.

Yup for every new album OOR will definitely tour USA, just that their concerts do get sold out, so need to grab ticket early. They should have a new album out this year.

Enjoyed your reaction! Next I'd recommend "Mighty Long Fall," one of their heavier songs (ruclips.net/video/i7seozLvbHw/видео.html); for an arena rock sound, check out "We Are" (ruclips.net/video/uyaKoj7wABY/видео.html), and for a song with epic Queen vibes, "When they turn the lights on" (ruclips.net/video/MQCd9KRhWq0/видео.html)
