Indeed, a charming cottage, clearly an homage to many designs that were popular at the beginning of the last century. Making the two bedrooms on the upper floor both "en-suite" is an excellent idea, removing the need for those occupying these bedrooms to negotiate a flight of stairs in the middle of the night.
This is an attractive traditional house. I suppose that the office closet could be used for coats, but it's not ideal. There's ample space in the kitchen for an island and more cabinets. There's also space in the laundry room for pantry cabinets. The stairs down to the back door and then up to the laundry seem unnecessary. Overall, this is a functional plan.
