Using her "piety" as a reason for her deserving mercy is a bit ironic for a woman convicted of/serving time for two felonious crimes (murder AND scamming people in a Ponzi scheme)!
Natalie has not shed one tear for her husband's death. I watched her cry only when her family was talking about all those good deeds she apparently did. If she didn't kill her husband, she should be crying her longs out. She's guilty 💯 percent
I hope the jury thinks of Michael's family and friends when they are considering mercy for her. She doesn't deserve it. She is the only one to blame for destroying her family and Michael's family. She is a murderer

She is lucky to live in a Country that gives free room and board meals etc. I would rather hear stories of Michael and how his life and legacy was cut short.. where is his mercy. I will pray for the family but she needs the harshest penalty the Judge can give. Murder is unacceptable, murders should have the same thing happen to them that they did to the victim. She is not a victim.
It seems this is how the possibility of parole is decided in this state, it's part of the proceedings that witnesses for the defendant tell the jury why they should grant the possibility of parole and then the jury decides based on these testimonies. She basically told the jury they have to grant mercy if they are believers and that this is what God expects them to do. I think this shouldn't be allowed as worded as she did.
Poison prevention programmes !!! Now I've heard it all. Also with regards with what her sister said she cannot be this person her sister is describing as her sister killed her husband. She likes to feel important and I'm sure she does things for people. They are giving the jury the opportunity to see if she should be given parole or not i.e. mercy. The jury can decide whether or not she spends her entire life in prison or not.
I don't believe her husband had now idea about the Ponzi schema. I believe she was a lier and betrayed all her friends and in-laws who seemed to be a little greedy too. But I don't believe she was a murderer. Her children or her nice should know. Most of the stuff they got I heard have been for him and after his dead she had to keep it up to survive.
I don't know but it's a possibility. Her kids and her parents don't seem to believe she murdered her husband and they seemed really great together. I don't understand why she didn't bring Michael to the hospital, even when friends told her they would say it was their request so Michael isn't mad with her.
I also don't believe she murdered him. So much reasonable doubt. To think he was unaware that no lucrative contracts were actually awarded is just ridiculous. He knew they weren't supplying anything to the government 🤦 They were partners in the financial scheme, so unless he had a huge life insurance policy that would solve all of Natalie's problems, I see zero reasons she would kill her husband. The prosecutors were quite unclear about the details of the alleged murder.
Omg.....how good she was on giving....of course She needed to spend all that money to pretend. But she killed her husband....she needs to pay time in Jail with No Parol
She has lied and twisted the children against mikes family that is clear ! She is evil . I also think the defence should be admonished for being so rude to the folks doing victim impact statements - disgusting behaviour
The judge is SHAMEFUL for not putting a STOP to that rude defense attorney from CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTING the victim’s mother, OR for not allowing the victim’s picture to be seen while his mother was speaking!…
Despicable how the judge and defence treated Michael’s family giving their impact statements ! It’s just unreal unimaginable and is actually disrespectful and very bizarre … you’re right ! Shame on them are they on crack or drugs it’s just strange .
Natalie had no mercy she didnt care she wanted him dead. Why should the jury have mercy, Her husband isn't gonna come back from the dead after her time in prison. NO MERCY!!!
What is about the relationship between the children and their other grand parents did Natalie’s family support a good relationship or was she selfish and isolated Mikes parents?
I have the deepest sympathy for the children and family members, having been dragged into this and victimised also by this cruel, conniving & evil woman. No mercy- the same as what she failed to show her husband Michael.
Shut up !!!The things her mother is saying is especially hurtful to Michael’s parents (mother and stepfather). This is intentional!! How dare they talk about what a wonderful person natalie was and is when she has committed murder and stolen millions!! NO MERCY!
Bless her mom, she just gave a relief to the juries not to be guilty giving her life in prison. She gave a great testimony that Natalie will not be useless spending her time in jail, as she said, and Natalie said she will be fine.
23:30 wow, I am sure Aunt rubbed the jury the wrong way trying to guilt the jury into showing mercy and said if they don’t they will be judged by God. Yet Natalie didn’t show mercy to Michael. Hypocrisy and narcissism at its best, and family is full of it!
I believe that this aunt comments are almost threatening to the Jury . So when you come to them asking for mercy I don't think that that is the demeanor you should have . As a Christian I believe in Mercy how much mercy did this woman give her husband
The whole showing of mercy…Natalie’s family are pleading for the jury to show mercy but Natalie is the one who made these choices. All of the pain the family is feeling is Natalie’s fault- if mercy is not shown it’s still all boils down to the choices this woman made and the residual effects of those choices!
I'm only halfways through her family's statement but I've so far never heard them apologise to or even show any sorrow for anybody but Natalie and themselves. What was their stand on Natalie prventing so many family members from Michaels side from attending the funeral. I find it interesting that they still don't seem to understand the timeline and what went on. Oh boy, her mum just comes across as a hypocrite.I felt her father was more genuine.Past good deeds mean nothing in the face of her cruelly. They might have had more success if they had shown empathy and acceptance of their daughter's actual crimes and conviction rather their own pleas, inorance and selfishness. Well done, they are proud of her prison achievements and work. There is nothing stopping her from continuing her good works.
How dare that aunt guilt trip Jurors and tell them that they will be judged by Jesus of their decision. She just better worry about Natalie being judged and spending eternity in hell. I don't believe Natalie fears God at all or she wouldn't of murdered her husband but I'm not the one that will decide where she spends eternity.
Strong words. If you asked where this went wrong? Went wrong with greed . This the America way get rich don't worry about others who you step on. Let have life so her ways of her mistake or mistakes
So sad, I don’t have the impression that the husband didn’t know anything and my impression is that Natalie would have made different decisions if she could go back in time. Families are complex relationships and to me, the problematic last years of this couples life, led to an unfortunate end, specially for the kids. I am praying for Cochran family.. be strong children.

@@CaseyRhyneXoXobecause he was in the dark about it BUT THE WALLS WERE CLOSING IN. SHE ABSOLUTELY MURDERED HIM. WATCH THE TRIAL. 🙄
@@kompliziabecause she was MURDERING HIM.
I’m sick of her mother!!!
Omg! Moms "testimony"!! Bored!
She just rattled on and on with her own goodness for mercy...
Whose's mom? Hope you're not talking about Micheal's mom. Micheal's mom spoke very eloquently and gave very important details.
Parading your family up on the stand to beg...its really shows how selfish Natalie truly is...
They say the apple 🍎 doesn't far from the 🌲 tree...
I dont feel sorry for Natalie but in all honesty there is something wrong with her. telling people millions are going to land in their bank accounts.
While she knows it will not happen... I agree, something is seriously wrong with her...
All of this is of her making, you reap what you sow.
Jeans in court? People don't know how to properly dress.
Her mother's attitude and demeanor is particularly annoying. 😮
She knew right from wrong but she stole money from friends and family
I believe that this aunt comments are almost threatening to the Jury . So when you come to them asking for mercy I don't think that that is the demeanor you should have . As a Christian I believe in Mercy how much mercy did this woman give her husband
The whole showing of mercy…Natalie’s family are pleading for the jury to show mercy but Natalie is the one who made these choices. All of the pain the family is feeling is Natalie’s fault- if mercy is not shown it’s still all boils down to the choices this woman made and the residual effects of those choices!
Pure evil and crocodile tears
Prosecution has class
Mercy is NOT being in this family.
Why should this criminal be given mercy. Who would trust to have her around them? Pffff her baby sister
HE must be so proud.
