    No hate on the family, I definately understand and have sympathy for them. No one wants a love one going to Prison, but at least they know she is ok, she is still breathing, she can mail letters or be visited. I think this is disrespectful that the family gets to reminisce of her childhood and go on how she is a role model.. no way, she murdered. She is a killer. She is lucky to live in a Country that gives free room and board meals etc. I would rather hear stories of Michael and how his life and legacy was cut short.. where is his mercy. I will pray for the family but she needs the harshest penalty the Judge can give. Murder is unacceptable, murders should have the same thing happen to them that they did to the victim. She is not a victim.

      It seems this is how the possibility of parole is decided in this state, it's part of the proceedings that witnesses for the defendant tell the jury why they should grant the possibility of parole and then the jury decides based on these testimonies.
      I think it's odd and kind of cruel to almost everyone involved (jury and involved families).

      @ what state is this in va or Tn? I am from Tn and my first trial I watched when I moved here was the preacher wife who also killed her husband and seems the husband was on trial and she shot him in the back and that murderer was acquitted. So unfair. I was ashamed of how it went down, she was evil. Her testimony was he made her wear wigs, high heels and lingerie and made her feel dirty.. but putting a bullet in his back and robbing him of life and kids from their father and soiling his name in court didn’t make her feel any kind of way. I am originally from Texas, they usually get it right there!

    • @komplizia
      @komplizia 11 дней назад

      @@jenburks557 I heard about it in Lawyer Lee's channel (video: verdict in), she explains it in detail. I think it's specifically West Virginia Law and Lawyer Lee showed the rules and Laws like: ARTICLE 3 TREAL OF CRIMINAL CASES
      962-3-15. Verdict and sentence in murder cases.
      If a person indicted for murder be found by the jury guilty thereof, they shall in their verdict find whether he or she is guilty of murder of the first degree or second degree. (..)
      the jury may, in their discretion, recommend mercy, and if such recommendation is added to their verdict, such person shall be eligible for parole in accordance with (...)
      It's like a second mini trial with witnesses for both parties and much less rules, at the end the jury has to decide if the defendant gets the possibility (!) of parole. If parole is granted after 15/20/25 years or whenever is a different procedure.

      I thought the same. I usually don't comment on people's body language but her words and these grins together made me feel very uncomfortable and I wondered how the jury feels. She basically told the jury they have to grant mercy if they are believers and that this is what God expects them to do. I think this shouldn't be allowed as worded as she did.

    Poison prevention programmes !!! Now I've heard it all. Also with regards with what her sister said she cannot be this person her sister is describing as her sister killed her husband. She likes to feel important and I'm sure she does things for people. Narcissists are like that but they are essentially self centred and doing stuff for others feeds their feeling of importance ; it does not mean they are kind

    I don't believe her husband had now idea about the Ponzi schema. I believe she was a lier and betrayed all her friends and in-laws who seemed to be a little greedy too. But I don't believe she was a murderer. Her children or her nice should know. Most of the stuff they got I heard have been for him and after his dead she had to keep it up to survive.

    • @komplizia
      @komplizia 11 дней назад

      I don't know but it's a possibility. Her kids and her parents don't seem to believe she murdered her husband and they seemed really great together.
      I don't understand why she didn't bring Michael to the hospital, even when friends told her they would say it was their request so Michael isn't mad with her.

    • @CaseyRhyneXoXo

      I also don't believe she murdered him. So much reasonable doubt. To think he was unaware that no lucrative contracts were actually awarded is just ridiculous. He knew they weren't supplying anything to the government 🤦 They were partners in the financial scheme, so unless he had a huge life insurance policy that would solve all of Natalie's problems, I see zero reasons she would kill her husband. The prosecutors were quite unclear about the details of the alleged murder.

    I'm only halfways through her family's statement but I've so far never heard them apologise to or even show any sorrow for anybody but Natalie and themselves. What was their stand on Natalie prventing so many family members from Michaels side from attending the funeral. I find it interesting that they still don't seem to understand the timeline and what went on. Oh boy, her mum just comes across as a hypocrite.I felt her father was more genuine.Past good deeds mean nothing in the face of her cruelly. They might have had more success if they had shown empathy and acceptance of their daughter's actual crimes and conviction rather their own pleas, inorance and selfishness. Well done, they are proud of her prison achievements and work. There is nothing stopping her from continuing her good works.
