I had a lesbian charge nurse at one time and she and her girlfriend were trying to adopt. And she was enamored of a particular pediatric patient that needed at home. My father owned a very small local buisness. One of his employees was a Lesbian. She respected his views on Christianity and did not bring her personal life to work. My husband died and I raised two boys who grew up to be real men who work hard, support their families and believe in God - couldn't be prouder of them. They had good role models in my father and brother and I agree boys need a father but when that's not possible mothers can also be lions!

I agree. I did the same… but their Father had zero interest in fathering and 200000% interest in drugging. Never saw him after the age of 1. I put them in team sports and wrestling.. My half brother taught me to oil paint when I was 11. I did not know he was gay until I was in my 20s. The women loved him and his partner . My other half brother was as opposite as is possible. I miss them both terribly.

I tried to have a political discussion with a guy solely stuck on MSNBC. He got two sentences out before he started screaming at me. It was surreal. I had to end the discussion without saying a word.
What set him screaming was Trump is defunding schools. Trump is against public education, and he believed it.

What I love the most is that people have a chance to come to the middle or at least try their best to know where the truth lies on the pendulum but never do. Someone was convinced that because I come from Canada, that I would agree with his mostly left-leaning viewpoints. He was shocked when I said increasing minimum wages, free healthcare and mass-immigration are all recipes for disaster. He was convinced that I'd get deported, too and I had to keep telling him "Dude, I feel like you're expecting me to believe the sky is falling."
All because he would believe whatever he heard on facebook, his girlfriend would probably rant about something she heard on facebook and he takes it as fact so he has more ammo locked and loaded the next day to go "Trump did WHAT, Desantis is gonna HUH? Poor DISNEY!" and the wheel keeps on turning. Another news cycle, another car ride full of arguing about perceived issues or another distraction from the big picture.
It’s because they know they are dead wrong. I was like that as a Trump hating Democrat in 2016. I couldn’t see it in myself until I saw how far the rest of the party was taking it. It was enough for me to decide to start doing some unbiased research out of a fear that I might be just like them. The second I realized how badly duped I was by Russiagate it was over.
