"The child appeared spontaneously in Director Bold's office one night and began speaking Italian, causing Bold to panic and kicking it into a wall, killing it instantly."
I too would be horrified if a baby started speaking Italian in my office
I just have the image of the baby going "ITS-A ME!" and the guy proceeding to punt it through the wall
This sounds like H.P Lovecraft's basis for a story
The italian gestures appeared demonic but the baby wanted an ananas pizza and a free ticket to hell because humans stink.
@@aliveandwellinisrael2507 little did we know the baby was Chris Pratt
Probably the funniest thing I've ever heard scp wise.
What I have learned from this SCP... There are no rules specifically preventing you from casting spells to send co-workers to hell, and at times, kicking a child into a wall is both noble and necessary.
nice profile pic. keep on fighting the good fight brother
Lmao
I'll have you know the child was over the age of 5 and tried to eat my leg I was not gonna let it
Probably shouldn't do that but whatever.
Out of context that sounds simultaneously horrifying and very Foundation
The Ethics Committee normally: as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike
The Ethics Committee in 7777: *_Look at me, I am the _**_-captain-_**_ Council now_*
What reference is this from?
I'm convinced the Ethics Committee is an SCP itself.
@@michaelandreipalon359 Captain Philips
Jesus! Who gives that Committee so much luck and fortune there?
iirc there's quite a few SCP files that allude to people being scared of the ethics committee and has a lot of power over the foundation
Lends a whole new meaning to “why is 6 afraid of 7?”
I was thinking that during the entite reading of scp 7043 the Montauk falcon with murphy law, they really paint the 05’s as p bad people
Very clever
"Because 7 worked with 0 in order to deliver a message within a random number generator. The message exposed 6 for sexually assaulting 2 during a staff Christmas party."
@@loganeda honestly way too many foundation bad articles lately including uroboros
I actually lol'd at the employee that was casting spells on co-workers
So to literally bring them to, quote, the Abrahamic Hell, end quote, no less.
If I recall, the 05 council have done that before.
@@michaelandreipalon359 And apparently trying to damn someone to eternal torment doesn't qualify as mental harm lmao, so the charges were dropped
"I damn you to hell, because that probably exists in whatever random writer's canon this is. All afterlives exist, except when they don't. But then they do cus "what a twist!"
@@aliveandwellinisrael2507 She's like an old cat lady. Why do you think there are so few women in jail compared to men? "Oh, she bit off his dick. Obviously it was a crime of passion, case dismissed." Or the sad reality of, "Oh she's old and has no family so she's acting out of her valid hurt feelings that are totally her own to deal with, let's give her some paid vacation instead, and therapy so she can be happy about dying alone."
The doctor kicking the baby into the wall is basically Austin Powers shouting, "ASSASSIN," and punting Mini-Me.
Look, it makes perfect sense and he gets a pass
Holy shit, this was amazing! Thank you so much for adapting my article! :D
One of the things that inspired me to write SCP-7777 was noticing a cliche on the Wiki where the Ethics Committee seemed to always be the hero while the O5 Council were always corrupt nepots. But, typically, I don't envision HR to be the greatest group; their purpose is to keep the organization running smoothly, not necessarily help victims and uproot corruption. I was also a little tired of RAISA always being passive observers, especially since they're in charge of *all* the records in the Foundation's database. So, I decided to be the change I wanted to see - and here we are!
I appreciate the wonderful video on my SCP-7000 Contest Entry, and the kind words from the commenters. Knowing that my work is interesting and impactful really inspires me to continue writing. Thank you all!! ❤
this kicked ass, great article
It’s an awesome article and nice job getting the 7777 spot! This whole score really fits together well!
Okay is that bad if I wanna read a series of tales about how the 3 major forces of the foundation (cut down to 2 now) slowly demolishes and reforms the upper management of foundation while playing mind games and stuff? Jokes aside, this perspective of the foundation was really refreshing, I'm honestly hooked if you ever decide to flash out this unique scenario!
This is a great article. Thank you for writing this and adding to the great Wiki.
Keep up the good stories👍👍👍
keep up the good work my good sir, your lore is worth preserving. may the archives thrive from your work.
The reason why Foundation sucks when it comes to stamping corruption in their own internal affairs is because corruption is not an anomaly.
Generic white collar crime: Foundation is near-powerless.
CK-class anomalous crime: Showtime.
I would argue corruption is the Foundation's innate state. How can you get rid of a condition that is the basis of all your interactions?
There's actually a glass eye the foundation keeps specifically for their questionable financial practices. Its supervision is a very lucrative position.
They may be terrible at stamping out corruption but they're pretty good at stamping Italian speaking babies into walls.
cool social critic
I love hearing about the employee side of the Foundation, it's a fascinating look into a subject of SCP we rarely hear about
I like imagining the thaumatergic chick is just free to run around cartoonishly wiggling her fingers at people like a witch, legitimately sending them to hell, and everyone is powerless to stop her
Well the foundation runs two versions of hell so technically it's a issue for human resources.
Never thought an explained SCP would be more interesting and eyeopening than some of the most fantastical elements in the canon. Absolute masterclass and an interesting crime/spy-story.
It reminds of the older tales on the wiki. While most SCP documents were about the anomalous and the research surrounding them, most tales were about the mystery and intrigue of the Foundation's agents and researchers.
Ethics Committee: *In order to ensure the security and continuing stability, the 05 Council will be reorganized into the first Ethics Council! For a safe and secure containment!*
🤣🤣
So this is how the ends justify the means? With thunderous astonishment.
Dr.Bright: Challenge Accepted.
Those damn ethical felines
Still loving the mix of images and the audio visualizer. Really gets the aesthetic of a seminar type scenario right
I agree. It's a perfect balance of both.
This is like a miniature version of the Ouroboros Cycle contained within the Foundation, and I can't help but imagine the Administrator, Ethics Comitee head, RAISA head and some big site director, all pointing at each other in the Spider-Man meme format
Truly miss the days when i hadnt caught up on TES videos and could just endlessly binge them
after reading 8980 this feels so fucking good, yossi realy found a way to punish site 17 without ruining they history
Definitely a change of pace from the usual fantastical SCP more in line with one's like "If You Can Read This..." or "Attempts to Look at What We've Accomplished." Very cool.
it mostly reminds me of 2pac ghost that spits rhymes about real crimes that were not investigated or smth
I agree. It's a really cool change of pace.
@rocknrolla that is one of my favorite SCPs of all time. The idea that Tupac is one of the few beings that can take on the specific entity noted in that SCP is both badass and hilarious.
I laughed at the part where a researcher vandalized a containment room with "Dumb anomaly. Idiot" 😂
...until it caused a containment breach 😳
I enjoyed this one a lot. I'd love some kind of follow-up with the Ethics Committee takeover
I find it amusing that the foundation actually has an Ethics Committee, considering some of the processes, procedures, and fail-safes they have.
Who do you think are the ones who greenlight all of that? Hint: it ain't the 05s.
Definitely need a follow up please
@@DamienBlade In general I'm pretty sure the Ethics Committee's job isn't to make everything ethical, it's to make sure that it's as ethical as it can be. Sometimes violence is necessary and it's the Committee's job to say when it is.
Found this really good quote for the Ethics Committee orientation.
"Remember this: the Foundation is not evil. We do not torture people "just because". We are against unnecessary cruelty. Which means somebody has to decide when cruelty is necessary. And that somebody is us."
Love listening to TES while I paint. Absolutely my favorite series to listen to.
Imagine working with someone who could actually do magic and you found out that they were going around sending ppl to hell
Oh my god the section Graham gets found out is literally so fucking cathartic for anyone who’s read the Deepwell Catalog canon.
Author here! It was very cathartic to write, too. Fuck Graham lol
Absolutely.
He’s responsible for scp 4415 right?
The music kicking at 12:06 is an incredible detail that adds perfectly to the gravity of the situation being described. Excellent touch by the Exploring Series, I cannot expect less.
Dr. Sherman here, stopping in to say “I DIDN’T DO IT!” 😂🤙
Thats the comment i was lookin for here
Glad i found it o3o
This was a really interesting story. I like how the Ethics Committee is portrayed so differently here. I like that it's not such a grand wild story as a lot of articles usually are. It's something pretty simple. The twists were really cool also. It's really well written. Nice.
To be fair. This seems quite logical and quite believable that staff would go to these lengths for "justice". Shocked it took the top brass to realize they were being had. I loved it. Never thought I'd wanna know more about workplace misbehavior within the Foundation. This could be a new canon
Really enjoyed this one. That last quote is easily one of my favorites. In regards to the 05's, and now the ethics committee reminded me of the saying " absolute power corrupts absolutely." lets hope the good men/women of the foundation can put them to task as well.
The funniest part is that in this Article the Ethnic Committee and other parts of the Foundation is far more darker then usual but still worlds better then the Fire Suppressing Department. Though, it is hard to beat those guys.
P.S.: I like the indirect Shout-out to the Site 17 Deepwell Canon, that usally portrais the Foundation in a more negative light.
I can't fucking believe I sat through 16 minutes of video for a Who Framed Roger Rabbit joke.
I'm not mad. I just can't believe it.
Each of these is always a Monday morning gift.
Well that was cool. I was expecting some kind of retrocausality, but the unexpected mundanity is a neat twist.
SCP-7777- "Who Framed Rodger Radcliffe?"
Man, the 7000 series has some absolute bangers. Great authors, still writing great stories.
Everyone remember to support content creators
Yup thank you
Via likes and comments, so to boost the algorithm and what else?
Common socialist W tbh
True common W
If you are feeling sexy/jumpy, remember to donate E.S. via RUclips Chanel membership or Patreon
I laughed SO HARD at 18:30 when it was talking about kicking the baby. Its beyond messed up, but so ridiculous its hilarious 😂
Ooh 7777 Idk why but I have a weird love for seeing the same number several times in a row especially the number 7 my favorite. Thanks for the video this is gonna be an awesome one.
So, you a Bungie games fan?
@@michaelandreipalon359 yup 👍
conceptually this skip has some of the more terrifying horror that's ever been featured on the site: the horror being in how lightly the Foundation apparently sees fit to punish some of their own when they perpetrate absolutely heinous crimes, but I guess you can't much else from an organization that is literally in every way above the law.
given the power the SCP Foundation have, I'm surprised at some of the entries that have them submitting to governments when the veil of secrecy is blown. They could probably overthrow the government in question,if they really wanted to.
@@Rellana1 Depending on the Canon, they definitely could since they have reverse-engineered Daevite sigils to make a timeline rewriter that turns anyone into a loyal Foundation employee
Eh, nothing here is really worth losing valuable researchers. If the Justice League was the only thing stopping reality from imploding, what crime could they commit in the personal lives on such small scale that would make disbanding or locking them up worth it?
Watching SCP 7777 seven hours after it is posted? Yes, please.
I love stories like this, when REAL structure changing stuff happens
I don't know how to feel about it ending there: What will the EC get up to in place of the O5's?
Hmm... An intriguing one for sure. Thanks again #TheExploringSeries !
Appreciate the effort you put into captions, thanks!
I feel like this should prompt the creation of a GOI, one that operates in secret in the foundation doing all that it can to keep the foundation as honest as is possible considering the circumstances
Oh my god this scp was a roller coaster it was insane I did not expect any of the twists or turns it was insane
lmao this was amazing!! thank you for the fun reading
I love that this video appeared on my homepage 7 minutes after release.
Perfectly timed for me being unable to sleep as usual, thanks TES
I was just thinking the exact same thing.
MTF omega one is amongst my favourite task forces
I honestly thought that would turn into another A1 vs O1 shootout...
Dude omega 1 is the guys you send to fight the bogeymen
The idea that the Foundation has a *shadow wizard gang* (tactical thaumaturgy) and can be canonically stated as being *funded by the shadow government* is hilarious to me
A person named "Dr. Expunged" sounds like a character from Nickelodeon. I know what "expunged" means but I just can't help but laugh at the designation!
I really like this one. If I write a scp I'll have to set it in the post-05 ethics committee ran foundation
Do it! Do it! Do it!
That would be really cool. Good idea.
This anomaly is responsible for my streak of good luck with loot in Borderlands 2. I knew it. Thanks RNGsus. I will continue to make sacrifices to the shrine.
This one is so dope! You did a great job man!
Ooooh been waiting for this one!
Honestly, I have for a while been rather annoyed at the idea that the Ethnics Committee is a joke within the Foundation, so seeing them being an element to be reckoned with is a nice change of pace.
Yes, certain SCP:s brings their authority and presence into question but I usually imagine it being the better alternative.
I agree. It's pretty cool.
Agreed. It's why the Law's Left Hand is my favorite MTF.
If you've read/listened to any other articles featuring Site Director Graham, you'll know that his assignment to d-class is sweet, sweet justice
What a thrilling entry. I loved that.
God i love these videos. Nothing better than to relax while listening to this.
Aw this is a really great one. Love the concept, twists, and resolution
I think "permanent removal" is a nice way of saying, "placed in a ditch".
I think it would be really awesome if you started covering analog horror series, such as Gemini Home entertainment, The Mandela Catalogue, Local58 etc
bro... they need someone capable of dealing with these conspiracies... Someone hard boiled... Someone whom you call when everything that could go wrong... DID.
You implying a crossover with... *him?*
@@michaelandreipalon359 He is the best chance we got god damnit
An animated series of him tackling foundation conspiracies would be cool
Who are we talking about?
@@jamesamos6565 The answer is right there in the text.
Murphy Law, of course.
I remember you did a poll asking if we preferred the audio wave or the pictures. I was one of many that said we liked both. Thanks for listening!
Scp foundation: comes up with the most creative and intense ways to contain scps without trying to harm them if possible
Also scp foundation: if baby starts speaking in tongues kick it to death
I like stories that show that the foundation isn't some monolithic entity, and suffers the same infighting and office politics as any other organization, just at much higher stakes.
I’m wheezing about bold here. Homie straight went for the kick. I’m deceased. So is that scp.
This story is so damn good
You gotta admit: The Ethics Committee gets results, in multiple ways.
Ahhh, yes. 0200. I can go to sleep now.
man it feels so good when you predict the twist to an scp
Thank you for the vids keep it up
14:13 Sherman! How dare you?
lets face it if a horned baby spontaneously appeared before me, speaking Italian, id kick it through a wall too, god that cracked me up and i feel horrible as a result. 🤣🤣
love tha waveform great moves keep it up
Came here from Volguns 4415 reading since people said Director Graham got his comeuppance. I was not displeased. Hope he has to test 682. (I’d heard this before but didn’t know Grahams background)
Thanks Explorer
Ooh, I remember reading this one and being spellbound by it.
OK. You've done 7000, 7070, and 7777. We just need 7077 and 7707 to complete the set
Well no, we also need 7007 and 7700
Scp 001 a good boy has some new containment rules regarding the ethical cats and the number 7.
Great work!
i wonder how this translates to what the author(s) believe about the real life equivalents of these ideas. the potential inspirations for this story
i love you mr exploring series
Would love to have you read the three body problem trilogy.
SCP 6469 being kicked reminds me of Kyle from South Park's catchphrase *KICK THE BABY!*
I really love this one
Damn, I subscribed to Dr Cimmerian because I liked his videos, didn't know about him covering up the murder of an infant :/
A fascinating tale
Wonderfully told!
Funny how the ethics committee always becomes the most powerful and feared department in any place foolish enough to hire modern inquisitors.
this ones so good
We need ppl like Silverstien in the real world... 😢
Sick file, I enjoy.
This is a Metal Gear level of plot twist
im missing school so i get to watch this early epic
Ok so this SCP entry has a dude kicking a kid into a wall like a hacky sack. Based on that alone….it’s my new fav 😚
If the hell spell incident worked that definitely would have been worse than plagiarism lol
Nicely done.
I have to wonder then, did Cimmerian really do what the file says he did? He's the only one of the senior staff avatars who's creator's role mirrors his in universe one to any extent, in that his creator is well known for things like speaking out against image plagiarism in wiki articles, the issues involving Bright's creator being permabanned from the entire site, the issues with the Russian wiki and possible trademark of the forum's logo by Duksin (I think that was his name?) as well as carefully and clearly explaining the right and wrong of a situation so that the rest of us understand it better. This is however, an article in which the Ethics committee is put in the role of the "bad guys" along with the 05s. So I'm not sure what to think about his inclusion in this article.
This scp was definately not what i expected. I thought the RNGs were changing reality to cause the crimes they were predicting.
Yossipossi was also heavily involved with Bright/Duckman's permabanning, advocating for the permaban when a lot of the rest of the Anti-Harassment Team only wanted a tempban
You should read the dogscape stories 👍 i haven't read them myself yet but the concept is super bizarre and interesting, though it can get really dark at times from what I've heard
Hey mangg. The eggs guy here, breaking character - an anomaly to be sure.
Just wanted to ask you a question - how does it feel that the actual website of the SCP Foundation makes their best articles in the hopes that you will make a video on it?
How does it feel to know your talent alone has changed the site for the better so much? That people write for the honor of being an article you feature?
M0cb love,
Coobs.
PS - eggs.
Are people inatetly good if they can sell others out for a Big Mac and drinks with their favorite celebrity? I am struggling with that.
I’m sorry, I know it’s awful, but I CANNOT stop laughing at The Site Director who KICKED A CHILD SO HARD THAT HE KILLED HIM 😂😂😂 I just keep imagining:
Director: **doing paperwork**
*child appears out of nowhere*
Random Kid: “Dov'è il bagno?”
Director: “AH!” *IMMEDIATELY DROPKICKS A CHILD THROUGH A WALL* “phew! …that was a close one.”
I don’t need Diane to send me there, I’m pretty sure I’m already going to hell 😅
Also, WHAT IDIOT DAD BRINGS HIS 6 MONTH OLD INTO A FOUNDATION SITE?!? 😵💫😳
