Problem is the higher rank you play the less likely this will work you can hear the bounce and see it fly down at least a second before it pops which is enough time for good players to turn an fight the gen player without being flashed if the player swung with the flash they have a high chance of getting the kill tho but considering they have to run from back gen to front the timing is very sharp to be able to kill them while turning

@@Adam-jr4ql yeah that’s true but you have to time it right still because you can’t see the flash you have to play off the sound it makes so if you swing too early you’ll can die before it pops I’m not saying it’s a bad flash but the higher you go the harder it is to pull off Tenz also found this messing around he hasn’t even tested to see how good it is yet I’m just saying I would be turned before it pops so I imagine radiant players would be an still can swing back in time to make the fight

@@MikeyDjarin i mean ya its all situational but its good to stall time on site and wait for your teammates to help you as your in a spot where they have to push into u heavy and can use the flashes to stall time looks pretty decent unless they have util to push you off the gen. But i feel like it could work in high elo if ur team is playing with u.

The point of a one way flash isn’t to flash them, but to force them to turn and shoot them while they’re turning or turned.
This works in high elo (radiant) moreso than a pop flash because unlike a pop flash, which opponents may suspect and therefore play antiflash against, the opponent will generally just dodge the one way.
You’re right that a flash that appears for a long time is generally not a good flash since it’s easy to dodge (this is basic things they go over in Val coaching). However, one way flashes are the exception, and when ppl talk about easy to dodge flashes, they’re usually ignoring one ways.
In terms of timing the swing, there are two things; one, if you’re high elo you should already have the timing of a one way flash popping down. Two, you can swing a bit earlier than when the flash pops, because players aren’t dodging right when the flash pops, they usually dodge a bit earlier. Also, players generally expect you to peek off a flash like that, so if you wide swing a bit earlier you can avoid getting headshot (and shoot them back while they’re flashed or turned).
A lot of the comments generally demonstrate a lack of understanding with one way flashes. This is because a lot of the players here don’t one trick, or if they do, they use their agents util very conventionally, so they don’t rly understand the potential of their agents util, instead just relying on aim and general game sense.
