Down here in the Bottoms, there are too many family ties for there to be so many beefs. Villains, Pueblos, 42'3'8, Piru's, Outlaws, Avalons...there are a lot of them that are inter-related. Whether it's blood related or not, down here ppl used to be at each others houses growing up. Then they reach that age of separation, whn they start choosing sides. I never banged but i watched it happen. In my generation (late 80's and early 90's), we'd get out of Jeff (Low Bottom DEMOS !) and a bunch of us would meet up at Ascot Elementary to hoop together. Even back in elementary, i grew up with a bunch of the cats who ended up being the first generation of "lil homies" from Foe Duce. Baby Dee (RIP), Lucky, Ditto, Lil C Rodd, Scrappy (RIP), Lil Insane...we all ran together. Some of the others turned Villain or Piru. But coming from this community, somebody's related to somebody ! I was chopping it up with an older ex-B'Dogg just yesterday about cars & shit and we didn't really kno each other but he said he always saw me around. He did about 20 in the feds. Then it turns out i hv family from his hood. He was like, "Damn, i never knew that was ur big brother. That's the HOMIE rite there !" It's a small world down here in these Bottoms !
