He says he copies art from manga and pintrest straight up. It's like super important for learning. And he also takes pictures of himself for reference for some images. It's weird sentiment that copying other artists is bad, like observing and learning from masters is bad. It's strange for me when people say or imply that it's bad. Like copying 1 to 1 gives the best kind of feedback. It helps troubleshoot problems, like why are they different, is it cause the initial guidelines and 3d shapes are placed down wrong, something else?
