This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
I watched the whole video. The last few minutes in the locker got my OCD going. Who ever comes up with a great storage idea for those cases is the winner. I have totes of that lol
Lol, yea the locker causes anxiety for me as well. The size isn’t desirable, therefore it’s hard to fit all of my case tools in an organized manner. Thank you watching the entire video; that’s really cool to hear!
@@jeffparker360 Hi Jeff, long time...😄👍🏿 This isn't actually a new content channel. It's just my original account where I view videos before I dabbled in creating content. I happened to watch a review of the US General 30 inch tool cart and the algorithm threw James my way. 😄😄😄
I think you bought the right box for your tool collection. I didn't think you would sell the Golden Boy. The side locker is perfect for the blow molded cases. Excellent job on the organization.
That's a nice setup brother I just bought myself a snap on 55" box back in April of last year. Went from a 6 drawer matco 40" cart to the 9 drawer snap on box. Still not how I want it to be but idk how I want to Feng shui the tools. Maybe I'll do a box tour when I have the time if you'd like to see what I've got.
That is a very impressive setup brother! I have always liked that box. I wish they would have made it in the old school gloss black and chrome trim as an option as well.
The battery power draw, monitor it for heat, especially when summer rolls around. You may want to think about installing a computer cooling fan to pump out the heat, just a thought 🤔, love the video
Great job my friend. That’s a awesome tool box. I love all your ratchets, wrenches and socket sets, ext. Do you have any torque wrenches? I been looking for some good torque wrenches, preferably digital torque wrenches. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Was that the tool widget holding your ratchets or something else? I have been looking for a better way then just laying my ratchets in my draw and that looked very nice.
Nice setup were did you get the powerstrip in the hutch and i was wondering if husky offers a side locker for the other side i got 10 boxes of the toolbox widgets and I love them
I would agree. Many ups and downs, but we’re doing good now. I actually watched my old video and it was shocking how much I’ve changed, in terms of the tool brands I prefer.
Great question. Tbh, I use my Grey Pneumatic impact sockets daily. I just like how well they fit most fasteners, and unlike Snap-on, they don’t deform when used on impact guns
@@MidwestToolReview good to know! I guess it's more of a want in chrome than need I have impacts i just like to slow down and use my chrome hand tools every once in awhile
Awesome man, good organization ideas. do your own research but I’m pretty sure you don’t want to leave the batteries charging once they’re full. At least the Milwaukee Li-ion batteries.
Question why did you go with this husky 80 inch over the us general 72 inch? The side box and hutch is cool but I believe the us general has more actual box space and is a thicker more heavy duty box as well
Iam been working on car for a long time I have two box and I just ordered 61 with hutch and locker how do u like that box I saw the new pro line husky to many skinny drawers
Great tool collection! I think you missed your calling; you should have been a tool dealer! :) At least you spent your money wisely, on tools, not the box!
Thank you!! I kinda felt that way too. There are times that I wish I was a heavy equipment mechanic, either working for Komatsu or Caterpillar. I worked hard to find the cheapest, yet highest quality tools I could buy. Admittedly, I was pressured to buy off the trucks, as wrenching isn’t my main job, so I had to benefit of time. I try to teach the younger newcomers to hold off spending thousands on a box, instead spend good money on tools, and the box will follow. It’s like trying to fit in with the boys, so you buy the biggest, baddest truck, but the engine is shot and needs work, but from a distance, it looks pleasing to the eye.
@@MidwestToolReview Amen brother! I invested over $20k on my tool box and another $40k on my tools. I wish some of these cheaper toolboxes had been available back in the '80's! Over the 35 years of being a master tech, buying all the big brands, I was shocked to see how many tech's wasted their money on the big brand tool boxes, and then they could not afford to purchase the tools, that actually made them money. Just because you have a 'bigger toolbox', does not make you a better tech :( Nothing against having a pro-box, but be sure that you don't short yourself in being able to purchase tools to fill your new box :) Toolboxes wont make you a better tech, only skills, knowledge and tools will help you advance in your career. Good stuff brother!
The mid will do it, but it’s a slow process. We did one about a month ago, and we used the mid-torque…ultimately switched to the high-torque just to save time.
Never can have too many wrenches. I’ve encountered numerous situations whereby I’ve either needed a stubby, stubby ratcheting, standard, standard ratcheting, standard ratcheting flex, long pattern, long pattern flex, double box-end… and so on. Sure you can spend an extra 30 mins trying to make something work, or you can own the right tool to get the job done… it’s a matter of how you view your time I guess…
Well I can understand your point, the fact is, you’re turning wrenches for a living, whereas I’m designing, building and developing the systems that you work on. We’re not the same…

Finally saw this in person today at Home Depot and man they are getting me sold on this box
I have the same cabinet and it’s awesome, but your set up and collection is outrageous! What a dream.

Good video and nice set up…thanks for upload!!!
I’m impressed with the new set up congratulations 😎

Came out nice. Nice organization with everything. Great job!
Awesome setup 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Husky Box set up looks very well organized and everything looks to be in hands reach and quickly assessable.
Another great tour. It's funny you mentioned not having a lot of drawers. I gave that box some serious thought but didn't go with it for that reason.
Very nice set-up!
Thanks Scott!!!
Man that hutch looks great
Gave me some ideas for my husky box. It's getting really full and I'm going to do some rearranging.
It's a lot more room and organized looking like a good set up
Looks great James ! Enjoy !
Nice! Widgets are great wish I could afford them. Want to organize mine lol. You did such a good job.

Your organization is on point.
Looks awesome. Love the layout. No wasted space.
Nice collection and nice video!
You have a heckova nice tool set! But, I was kinda expecting a little more of a review of the tool-box. 😂
You already know that is more than most mechanics own. So for dyi its phenomenal
The husky boxes are super nice. Much better then the craftsman and non stainless kobalt boxes.
The wright tool stuff is awesome
Good move versus having those small boxes. Bravo on the set up.
You have done a really nice job of setting it up.

That power strip on the hutch, did you glue a magnet to it so that it sticks to the hutch like that?
It came with the hutch. I believe it is riveted into the back of the hutch
Very set up indeed !
Are these still available at Homedepot?
Yes they are
You have come along way and now back to the husky box
Bet a lot of the viewers don’t remember your old husky box it was busting at the seams Lol

Nice tools, probably not used nearly as much as they could be.
Which sockets do you find yourself using the most daily? I'm thinking of upgrading my craftsman 3/8 mids to either mac or snap on

hows the mid torque done any honda crtank bolts with the lisle inertia socket apparently that with a high output battery yanks them offf easily

Im so glad you didn’t listen to yourself and only do a 10 minute video i could have watched this for an hour
Can u make a video on opening the blow molded cases
Are you referring to what’s in the side locker?
The only thing I don't think I could do is the depth. I'm bummed that the box is so shallow.
Clearly not enough 1/4” ratchets for a DiYer…….. wow…. Just the small drawer with them is worth more than the entire box (without tools)
Very nice
those tools look like they were never used do you actually wrench with them
Nope, just tool box queens…
Do you have a part number for the tool chest?
I do. I’ll upload
