Here's a sneak peek at the J-Fatz project and the reveal of an exciting new video we just produced for Fall Out Boy who commissioned us to Rock-afire their latest hit song! This video plays on their huge video screen behind their live performance for the tour they are on right now! And, to make sure that huge video screen has crystal clear and sharp video, this is all done in the highest resolution known to man! (Well, this man, anyway)
Outstanding programming here, Araron. This is perhaps the most live-like and fluid movement we have seen on the RAE yet. It's amazing to think how far you have come in programming these shows.
Also, I'm digging that new Beach Bear wig, I think it fits him better than his original wig did.
It's amazing he built this 40 years ago. Its simply cool hes still tinkering and advancing it.
I just fangirled over this. I freaking love both rockafire explosion and fall out boy. This almost made me cry.

I can't get over how much I love everything you have done, Aaron. I wish I could bring my nieces and nephew to the amazing shows that I watched and loved as a kid that you brought in to existence. The fact that mainstream bands are bringing The Rock-afire Explosion in to the limelight makes me insanely happy. I proudly rock my merch and never hesitate to explain it!
Man I really miss Showbiz Pizza! However, I am shocked that you never went to work for Disney. Especially since you are in Orlando too. Looks like you would make a great Imagineer.
I had a dream I went to creative engineering the other night and yes I do wish Showbiz was still around today I've never got to see the rock afire explosion in person makes me sad

Beach bears almost got his original wig with the hair in his face

I know I’m late but this animatronic was used at six flags fright fest at San Antonio they used it to sing every now and then while people waited in line it was cool it sang monster mash

At the beginning of the Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea part, when Fatz's head is down, it looks like he's going into demon mode because the red lights are reflecting off his eyes.
this is so cool i wish i was there in the 80s or 70s but i was born in 2006 the rock-a-fire explosion band move so good they look so real and its better than chuck e cheese i qish showbiz pizza was still around if it was i would go right now.
if you could get more of todays singers into the Rock A-fire Explosion you can get it back into circulation and people will want more of it. I know I have been listening to songs from Journey and REO Speedwagon and can picture them doing those songs. I can even see Dook singing the song All By Myself. I have many visions of The Rock A-fire Explosion dancing in my head.

The programming was great, but Beach Bear's stuck right eyelid bothered me the whole time despite my effort to ignore it. Hopefully this doesn't bug other people as much as it does me! Nice job, Aaron! It's always great to see new programs developed for RAE, especially when an active artist helps with the content and/or presentation.
ha! I didn't catch that until after the video was finished and was forced to stay on a tight time line. Oh well. You caught a flaw. There are others that bother me more. but there's a lot more that I like than what I don't like, and I've learned a long time ago, that's the best I can expect of myself no matter how much I demand perfection of myself and those who work for me. I remember crying when the Hard Luck Bears Show was shipped for all the flaws I didn't have time to fix. I got counseling for this problem I have, and I am trying to love my work even with its flaws.

Agreed. One failed movement rarely ruins the show, unless maybe it's the mouth movement. If anyone wants to see what ruins a show, go to Billy Bob's Wonderland. I doubt anyone at the Fall Out Boy concert will be bothered by that eyelid. But the details are always what kills me. I may need counseling too, Aaron. Anyway, it's exciting to see RAE in show business again!!
ToasterKing Speaking of Billy Bob's Wonderland, they're under new management and they fired their only technician for the show and don't want another one! They. Are. Done. They'll regret it later, I know, so many people will be upset! And you don't even want to know what Beach Bear looks like after some random employee put a walkaround costume on him! All time low
Wait what? So they didn't get his cosmetics fixed at all? Honestly the Billy Bob there ruined anything salvagable about that show anyway due to its horrifying mask.
Honestly J-Fatz doesn't look that melted, but that might just be because on my end he just looks a bit excited to finally be getting a job!
Wow!! That was really good programming!! You really got a lot of expression out of Beach Bear! You did really well with all of the characters! Even Loiney Bird who doesn't even have half the movements that the others do! Now that's how you bring animatronic characters to life!
And I can't wait to see 2nd gen Dook too, it'll be difficult to program him (especially with the delay of the signal), but it'll definitely pay off!!

😣 I miss Beach’s old hair already. But, I woke up just in time to see this video really early. This is a great combination! Fall Out Boy and Rock-Afire Explosion. I might go to the Fall Out Boy concert coming to my state this year now.

Wow, I like Fall Out Boy and this is an awesome song. You did a fantastic job programming the show too, Aaron. It’s really cool that such a popular group wanted this done for them. It certainly was a great time to bring out your best. To be honest, I love beach bear having a poofy white wig. I never was a big fan of his old hair setup. Awesome show and I’ll have to see if I can find tour clips online once their tour starts. It’s also good to be caught back up on uploads after having fallen behind for about 3 weeks. I'm dazzled by that J-Fatz, it's such a fresh, interesting look he has! It's so cool when your work gets around to other places in the country. Texas is a good place that I wanted to visit again, maybe one day I could go see that gorgeous gorilla perform lol.
As for that Fall Out Boy performance, my face was stuck in AWE. ~ First of all how cool is it that they commissioned you!? I never have been to a concert but I'd totally go to theirs for this LOL. And you're right about the movement! It's like I can't put my finger on it about the differences but I can some how totally see the smoothness and how it coordinated beautifully. :)

Thanks! The characters are evolving. But, just as we have to accept and get used to the new hair styles the Beatles went through during the 60's, I think a new hair style once every 35 years isn't bad for an entertainer. Heck, he might even change his pants some day...

"First of all how cool is it that they commissioned you!?" first of all, if that's the kind of song Fall-Out-Boy performs, then they need to back off, and we should not be supporting this, and I definitely do not support the new bar idea, that is the worst idea I've ever heard concerning the Rock-Afire, and I am rather disturbed by it.

Beach Bear’s eyes going cross eyed at “I’m out of my mind” blew my mind!! I used to be a bigger FOB fan but man I wish I could’ve seen this live, anyways fantastic!!
Aaron, I wanted to own myself a Rock-afire Explosion related establishment called "Arcade Retro" with food (hamburgers, chicken, pizza, etc.), vintage and modern arcade machines (Mario, Pac-Man, Q-Bert, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Centipede, SkeeBall, Whack-A-Mole, etc.) rides (carousel, helicopter, clock, hot air balloon, etc.) and a play place section with a ball pit. I think my future place "Arcade Retro" will include the classic Rock-afire Explosion stage with the characters in new outfits (Dook in a tie dye outfit, Mitzi in a skater girl outfit, Fatz in a new suit, etc.), and instead of opening and closing, the curtains would lift up and down. I'm 17 years old now, so I'll wait until I'm older when I have the chance. What do you think?

Aaron fechter I'm a really big fan of the rock fire explosion and I tried to make my own rock fire explosion out of paper cardboard real guitar fake guitar tape pants and beach towels and can I please please have a tour here at creative engineering this fall

I love Fall Out Boy! It’s so weird to see the RAE do fall out boy, but I love it!!! I’m so happy knowing that Fall Out Boy know about the RAE, and now I want to see them live even more knowing the Rockafire are part of it!
The trippy lighting, the characters, the scenery, everything is top-notch. 5:41 is my favorite moment where they're all grooving together. Much respect, you obviously put a lot of time and effort into your art.
