- In Nevada, the first recreational marijuana dispensaries opened in July 2017. The budding business boomed and now there are 698 operational licenses across the state. However, it hasn't been the financial windfall the cannabis industry was expecting.

I use to be a sampling technician & in 2 years about 60% some of those clients had to close.
So I can only imagine how many more have had to close
@Ronald-hk6fk We have 3 dispensaries in my small town. They're building another one a 15-minute walk away from me. Where they get business from, who knows. I live in a retirement community, most of us are old that live here.

the taxes are an insult. Nevada locked up stoners for decades, now Nevada is hungry for our money. Nope. Pay us what you owe us. Tax-free and subsidize the industry! Cannabis means jobs. Agriculture jobs, manufacturing jobs, transportation jobs! Cannabis means jobs!
Here in Arizona, we can grow 6 plants per person. It's not hard

In some places it’s half the cost to get it in the black market why would you go to the dispensary and give your ID. A lot of older people are still afraid of giving their name

taxed 10% + 6% sales tax in michigan. the black market is shrinking here. also if you dont want to deal with either you can grow your own.
Yes, i've been seeing this for a while. The dispensary i go to stopped selling their 1 gram cartridges. Even when there were no deals on the cartridges, you could still get a cartridge of 1 gram for around $30-$40. They don't sell them anymore and i suspected it was cause of this very reason.
Bro there are 3 1g carts for $60 deals at my dispensary all the time in Henderson.

@@erickh.4435 "The Dispensary" in Henderson and "The Oasis" in Vegas. They have really good deals at both places.

@@davetelekom443 I think it's pretty good considering the fact that these cartridges are tested using the scientific method. No idiot on the street is going to be able to provide that kind of service. All these street dealers just say it's good shit or that they got it from California. That's not enough for me to to earn their trust. I need to know exactly what's in my cartridges. I don't like fake cartridges with nasty dog water that has harmful chemicals. Even if it doesn't have all that how can one guarantee what they are saying is true? You can't unless you use the scientific method. So either you're broke or an idiot, no offense.

The legal cannabis industry in Canada is still making money but taxes could definitely be lowered.
And just think... a majority of them taxes go overseas to other countries and wars...
sales are probably down on everything with this economy we currently have . I bet if you look house sale, auto sale , food sale , clothing sales are all down . Meanwhile you guys are sending 95 billion in tax dollars to aid a foreign war. Makes sense to me
