When you were very young ( 2, 3, 4 years old) you reminded me of a sprightly leprechaun; and when you got older, I couldn’t help but notice that you had unusually good luck. I used to tell you that you had “the luck of the Irish”. My favorite grandmother, my father’s mother, was Irish, and she and my dad’s sisters told me that you looked almost exactly like my father did when he was very young. Anyway, I think that you still have the luck of the Irish! Having such a strong, loving and supportive a partner as Trish is more evidence of your amazingly good luck. Keith and I will also stand by you during this difficult time in your life. ❤
