I want to send a quick warning about this project. There are many red flags in the discord, including zero payment for the artists, VAs, etc, many of whom are minors, inappropriate moderators, and generally a poor handle on the situation. I believe that there is a chance they can get their stuff together, but be aware of these red flags and don't be surprised if this comes crashing down. I'm a huge supporter of indie animation. But only when it's done right. I hope the leadership can get their stuff in order and get this off the ground, but forgive me for being skeptical that this won't come crashing down around them.

I think it would be a good idea to be clear in the casting call that this is voluntary when you're announcing starting an indie series. Usually that insinuates that people will be paid for their work 😅 i nearly applied because I thought it would be a good way to build my portfolio while still being able to pay my bills 🥲
I did help write the script, so lowkey my bad for not disclosing that better. I didn't really see what the issue was until after we got a sea of people. Honestly was thinking we'd get like 2 people helping off of this. We're getting so many people and are trying to structure and improve off of that. A lot of us would really like to get paid, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards at the moment.
I wish I could help but not only do I not know how to do animation nor do I have the materials for it I also don't have the proper gear for voice acting. the only experience I have I'd being apart of a school musical last year and that's not the same as doing a cartoon but I'm happy to support this project!

I would recommend that if you are a voice actor, you apply with casting call, if you are an artist it might be better to apply with discord.

I think I'll join, I'm mainly a 2D artist/ animator, but I do a bit of 3D too. I'm also in a different project, but it's been slow, so yeah.
