Hopefully Relic of Rivers is left alone. Perfect showcase of how the relic system can enable/compliment different builds instead of just always automatically using whatever happens to be BiS for instanced content builds.
Currently my favorite build in GW2 so far ... thanks a lot for sharing ... well done !! For me, the short bow is much more than just a stopgap solution in case close combat is too dangerous. "Shift Signet" is ideal to port your mech next to you to give him all the boons you have either, see "Mechanical Genius".
Just use Sword Pistol with a typical Alac mech build with Diviner/Bersekrs then use Jade dynamo instead of barrier engine u get 16 sec of quickness in 1 rotation and almost perma quickness with 30k dps, Survivability aint a problem if u kill it fast enough and u have AED anyway
Is it more damage to use Superconducting Signet on cooldown or just keep the passive on all the time? Are there times you find using it (i.e., for the lightning field)?
@@Oatmeal-Savage Regen, blood sigil, and your heal signet. Also you have tons of dodges. Your mech should be taking the damage for you. You shouldn't ever be taking much damage yourself. But in tough situations being ranged with shortbow is everything you'll need to survive.
Hey i am new to the game and i want to play mechanist but some easy power build...which weapon is best? I see a lot of ppl saying rifle is super bad so whats the best option here? Sword and pistol?
I use the rifle. People can say what they want, but being at range is the best thing you can have. Moving away from stuff while dps-ing feels awesome. Tagging mobs is easy, you have cc, movement, knockback, aoe, immobilize with rifle.
Thanks a lot ! I just choose "No scope" instead of "Thermal vision" in the Firearms trait line, and pick up Zakiros relic , because your jade mech already generate alacrity, and it's fine 👍
Is it better than hammer though? New builds are great and stuff but if it's not better damage, better sustain or just way easier to play with similar output to an existing build then it's a bit moot.

Since you can’t switch weapons on mech mid fight. Do you just go with the weapon you want to rock spear or bow prior?

It is Trapper runes. I don't know why it was nightmare runes it's been fixed.

I dont think they will nerf that relic boon’s apply only on you ,feels future proof ,and relevant just for players who like openworld solo builds👍

Nope! Always keep it active.

When I saw rivers I was wondering when quick + alac build would come out. Thinking this could change meta as support can maybe do both boons.
but it doesnt share the boon?
Willbender is the closest you can get to giving both alac and quickness to your allies
