I would like to see her first operation results. I know it probably won’t look perfect with just the tt but I like to see every single stage of the process lol
I know this is probably a silly question but can a tummy tuck be put on a payment plan? Can it be financed? I don’t know how to go about doing this because l know it’s not covered by insurance. 😢
Hello Dr. Would you do BBL on a healthy 57 y/o woman after 60 pound weight loss after gastric bypass. My buttocks are sagging... I just want it lifted and looking normal. I had a bodylift years ago but ended up gaining weight. I will appreciate a consultation.😢
@DrWilliamMiami sorry for my ignorance, but how does that kill the abdominal skin? are there any alternatives to horizontal scars, as they are far less visually desirable than vertical scars?
Another excellent video dr William! Very interesting why the name "fleur-de-lis" is used to describe this procedure. I had to google to know. 😊 Google also came up with a surgey called a "panniculectomy". Google didn't give a satisfactory answer when I compared the three "stomach" surgeries. When is this surgery applied? Is that the mons surgery you are talking about?
A panniculectomy is an insurance based operation that is considered medically necessary, and is not considered a cosmetic procedure. A panniculectomy is paid for by the insurance company. A tummy tuck is an elective cosmetic procedure paid for by the patient. Insurance does not cover elective, cosmetic surgeries. In a panniculectomy the extra skin and fat are removed, the belly button is removed and there is no tightening of the abdominal muscles. In a tummy tuck the extra skin and fat is removed, a new belly button is created, and the abdominal muscles are tightened. A monsplasty is something different.
A muscle repair won't fix a hernia, but a small umbilical hernia can be fixed at the time of a tummy tuck and it is an extra procedure and is an extra expense. For large umbilical hernias or a ventral hernia than it is best to have it repaired at least 2 months prior to a tummy tuck.
What about a reverse tummy tuck at the bra line? I had lower abdomen lipo 20+ yrs ago and it’s super flat still but after gaining and losing 60 pounds my upper abdomen has loose skin
It is possible and makes sense to address the upper skin laxity but personally I don't do that operation. From what I have seen the scars tend to spread and so you tihnk they will be concealed under the breasts but they tend to spread so personally I am not a big fan of that operation.
Five years! You are a trooper! I am in Miami. I have operated on quite a few patients from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. I have never visited the Netherlands but I would love to go. Here is a link to my website if you would like more information: www.drwilliammiami.com/
Hey Doc, little friendly advise from a french viewer. We do say "fleur de lys" and pronounce it with the S If you don't pronounce the s, it would make "fleur de lit" which means "bed's flower" Now you can swank 🤙 That was a message from the Irritating People Commity.
And you think I would know better because I grew up taking french in school in Canada. Thank you for the correction! I appreciate it. I will now pronounce the 'S' moving forward.
Can we see her results
It would be nice. idk why some don't do a before and after

Thank you for this, what about a lower body lift? Thigh lift? After a significant amount of weight loss.
I don't do thigh lifts so I can't help there but I will make a video on a lower body lift.
I have one thigh smaller than the other one due to back surgery. Then after a 70 pound weight loss; they are really in need!
Ooih I need this but i have to lose more weight ❤❤❤

can you do a vertical scar on each side of the obliques? to remove skin instead of front center of stomach.
This was a good question
You would kill all of the abdominal skin if you did that but I understand why you are asking that.

@@DrWilliamMiami ... thanks for the explanation. Appreciated.
Can you do an incision on the back versus the front? If not, is it because of the sensitivity of the spine?
You wouldn't be able to remove the skin that way. Nothing to do with the spine.
If the patient as an umbilical hernia does muscle repair in a tummy tuck take care of that or that's a separate surgery and charge?
A muscle repair won't fix a hernia, but a small umbilical hernia can be fixed at the time of a tummy tuck and it is an extra procedure and is an extra expense. For large umbilical hernias or a ventral hernia than it is best to have it repaired at least 2 months prior to a tummy tuck.

Hi Dr, is it possible to fix hernia and DR with one TT surgery?
Yes it is. It is very common to repair hernias at the time of a tummy tuck.
Thanks Doc 🙏🏾
Thanks doctor❤ from DRC Kinshasa
What will she wear on her abdomen for the first 2 weeks since you do not recommend compression
I have my patients wear a light binder for the first two weeks before getting into a faja. Compression after a tummy tuck can be dangerous.
Hi am Dorothy I live in the Nederlands. Please where is your location? I have followed you for the past 5 years now

I really really want to see this woman results or she didn’t do it again?
I’m in the process of losing. 55 off and counting. I know I’ll need this when I’m done.
Good for you! That's a lot of weight.
@@DrWilliamMiami Thanks but I have another 50 or 60 to go.
Dr I want you to do my tummy tuck
I'd be honored.
