She said in an interview that it would feel too personal to sing in her native tongue, it feels less emotional to sing in english. Try it yourself, try saying "I love you" in english vs spanish, which feels more personal?

Aurorie did actually say in an interview that she will start doing music in her language and has plans to release an album in her native too but she did maintain the fact that she love English which is why she writes in it. The interview happened I suppose after the Wardruna collab she did on the song Helvegen.

I'm absolutely in love with sings, what Aurora sang in her native language. It feels more magical, than in English even I don't understand words.

As a speaker of a Germanic language, it's so weird listening to other Germanic languages and almost understand but also not quite but it sounds soo familiar as if I should understand it

Often German gets compared to all Romanic languages and its like the most alien languagge. But if you look at Norwegian, Swedisch, Icelandic, netherlands, its all super similar
