I love how all three of them truly seem to appreciate and love the others for who they are, despite their obvious differences. Something my parents never taught me or my siblings. Hey, Norwegian speakers in the comments, got a question! Around 5:54-ish Miranda is talking about the makeup style she and Aurora developed, and she mentions a point of inspiration being (going by the English translation in subtitles) "primitive people", specifically in the context of body paint. Was a bit surprised to hear that, as the term "primitive people" has some nasty connotations in English. I was just curious what the context of the original term is in Norwegian, and whether anything was lost in translation? Thanks! (also, the bit where Aurora talks about being like a cow when she was little - is that a common Norwegian expression or just Aurora being Aurora?)
In Norwegian what she said did not carry any negative connotations, it simply is/was a general reference to any ancient tribe/population. We have however started to acquire some forms of "PC language", mostly inherited from English influences I believe, i.e. "neger" the original Norwegian word for a person with very dark skin cannot be used any more, and some people have even tried to make it illegal in old children's songs.
I was going to ask about that I thought in my head "The Japanese people are not primative!" They're just different and have different customs like anyone one else in the world. The more I see, the more I wonder. I appreciate her boldness. And her uniqueness. But as someone not precisely nuerotypical, she demonstrates many traits of someone not nuerotypical. But as shown, with proper nurturing she can be a herself, and a genuine gift to the world. As could many of us. It’s not bad to want to provide for that for people. I say this as someone who is pretty brutal about idealism. Both my own, and others. You might say I’m a “Dream and feel things big, but get there by solid method, and good bets.” type. Which naturally puts my between to supposedly opposing Ideologies. The world some envision aims to cut the world into sellable parts. Trashing the uncomfortable bits. And others want have everything. chickenmonger123 she is definitely neuroatipycal ( Asperger would be my guess) some would call her a starseed 🌟but as you said being accepted and raised up into a loving family made her blossom up, (rather than feeling being diminished or an outcast for being different ) enhancing her unique and a true personality traits and expression of herself and enjoining it, the result is beautiful! she could only have been an artist . She is a winner! May her path continue.
Yes! I know a few women who are on the autistic spectrum and Aurora displays most if not all the traits. However some people take that as an offense. Quite frankly that in itself is a gift. A lot of the women Ive met on the spectrum have been very talented artists. She was also stimming through the whole interview. Ive heard some people say it's just a cultural difference but seeing her with her sisters shows otherwise. That would also explain why she doesnt like being touched. As someone on the spectrum, it is absolutely beautiful to see that she got and has the love and support she needs. Shes so amazing. I love that she just does her thing and stays true to herself. Its fucking inspiring :)
@@aitherisbestgirl841 its more speculation that diagnosing. And people want to know because she is AMAZING and shed be a beacon of hope for those who share those unique traits. Also, perhaps her uniqueness would also inspire those who are similar. Its also about representation in the media. Its nice to see someone like us being represented in a positive way. Its not to bring her down... Its to raise her up like the queen she is.
@Jessica Phayde Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I see where you are coming from and I agree with most of your points. It’s wonderful if those of you on the spectrum feel you can relate to her and her music in that way. :) My reservation lies with the fact that Aurora herself consistently won’t discuss it in those terms, however many interviewers have baited her. Thus, even if she is on the spectrum she obviously doesn’t identify as such, and I think that deserves to be respected.
What's with the massive debate about Aurora's appearance? They show pictures of her as a child where it is very clear she is blonde haired and fair skinned, compared to her sisters. It is unusual to see a girl who looks so different from her family, but it is what it is. They are clearly all very close, either way.
I see quite some comments about Aurora hair colour. After being a fan of her for years I'm sure she dyes her hair, I even saw an ig story of it (only I don't remember if it's her hair or brows. She is naturally blonde but not this platinum blonde. There's not thing wrong with little changes to fit artistic aesthetic. I understand many ppl see Aurora as pure natural goddess, but still, she is a person and she has her preference or 'aesthetic' to fit. Don't forget that she's not some Nordic wild spirit lives in the forest, she's a human being 'works' in music 'industry'.
Yo, 404 - it does sound like she was a bit of a wild-child growing up. She played in and around the forest in pre school and grade school using just her imagination most times to keep her company & entertained . . . .

That Aurora's music is in a class by itself, the best I've heard, I think, ever, goes without saying. Her outfits for her shows and interviews are just as wonderfully unique as her music. That she is very minimal with her makeup is also a huge point of attraction for me and so I think its really cool her make up artist sister goes with that. I like that she doesn't like to shave her arm pits, doesn't like perfume, and prefers to be bare foot. All that said... The more I get to know her as I follow her music and interviews, the more I feel attracted to her. On many levels. I would very much love to explore each one of these beautiful young women's "company" for *at least* a month each. Just stay in bed all day and night for days on end. I put that as tactfully as I could, considering the blunt way I usually speak. I will never meet any of them. But what fun it would be to *really* get to know them, intimately, passionately, thoroughly.
I quite like Viktoria from the few interviews I've seen with her. As stunningly beautiful as Aurora is....Viktoria is honestly every bit as gorgeous. I find her super attractive tbh. And I quite like her darker more sarcastic/dry...vibe. And the mental struggles she's been through...is something I can relate hard to. I feel like I'm far more like Viktoria than Aurora....though I'd _rather be_ more like Aurora, be that free...my inner light burning that white hot.
A lot of people are talking about her hair colour but let me clear this up. Firstly there’s a strong gene in Norway that many of its people get extremely blonde/white hair even if they’re parents don’t. Also hair changes and matures when you get older and also depending on the weather. Secondly I just watched a very old live stream of Aurora’s where she was asked if she ever dyed her hair and the only colours she said were green and orange. She did not say platinum, I believe her. Oh and the colours she did dye her hair with would have effected the way her natural hair grew back in and the tone it had. Hope all you warriors are staying safe and healthy. 🧡🌱🌞
I was actually interested to hear what the older sisters are up to in their lives. Too bad this was only about Aurora. I'm sure they're really good at what they do so would've been interesting to hear..
Yes, but the sisters got to do most of the talking this time. And Aurora gets to sit and listen to her journey, the family journey from the perspective of those closest to her. I would have preferred a longer interview too and learned about both sisters a bit more. Like, does Miranda go on the road for some of the bigger dates to help Aurora before and after shows for instance.

With feeling to lead the way.
But the latter has much to offer, and is often the heart of humanity. To not nourish it, is to is forget to live.
chickenmonger123 she is definitely neuroatipycal ( Asperger would be my guess) some would call her a starseed 🌟but as you said being accepted and raised up into a loving family made her blossom up, (rather than feeling being diminished or an outcast for being different ) enhancing her unique and a true personality traits and expression of herself and enjoining it, the result is beautiful! she could only have been an artist . She is a winner! May her path continue.
Please stop diagnosing her. "She’s unique. Let’s put her in another box."
They are clearly all very close, either way.
my luvrrr
wish to have that supporting family
She played in and around the forest in pre school and grade school using just her imagination most times to keep her company & entertained . . . .
First time I'm hearing Aurora speak Norwegian
I’m embarrassed to admit I can only speak English. Would a person smarter than me, please make English subs for this video?

She tells about how greatfull she is for her two older sisters. They are the team around her and inspire her a lot. They are best fiends and help her to make costumes an do her make up. Aurora tells about that se can’t stand beeing touched in her face (she think it is to intimited) and only her sister is aloud to do the little makeup she use. The sisters tell that Aurora always have been spescial, and they worried she would be bulling for to use clothes that was not common. They tell about when they first discover she could sing. It was on vacation in Greece. Aurora (about 12 years) learned a creec song and she sang it in streets and restaurants and it was beautiful and people stopped and listen to her.
They tell about Aurora when she was a litle girl. She had a lot of energi and was constantly out playing in the woods around their house. Her mother has a bell( Aurora explain it was not as big as a churc bell and not as small as a litle table bell 😃) she ring in the bell when Aurora should come home.
When the sisters left the studio Lindmo talk about equality and then Aurora tells she has not so much power but she has a voice and she use it in her music. She tells that she has trained to take the room when she is in meeting and in intervjues. When she was younger that was hard for her. Now she declimes respect and that they should listen to her. I hope you understand my english i’m not teqnical to make subs for this video.
@@Randi-x2r Thank you!
Randi thank you. I appreciate your translation of the interview. I might try to learn Norsk a bit.
@@madgrapho It looks like someone's done a great job adding subtitles since you last posted. Click the CC button and watch again. :)
Matt G thankyou so much.
🧡🌱🌞
Victoria reminds me of Alicia Vikander
...Beautiful sisters .
I didnt understand but i think its wonderfull!
You can turn on English subtitles! :)
@@kenzokenzo Thank you sr
I was actually interested to hear what the older sisters are up to in their lives. Too bad this was only about Aurora. I'm sure they're really good at what they do so would've been interesting to hear..
They do exactly what they do for Aurora. Miranda is a stylist, and Viktoria is an clothes designer.
Amazing she has siblings that guards and supportels her
aku gak ngerti apa yang di omongin, tapi aku suka aja ngelihat kecantikan nya Aurora❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh my God they are all beautiful.. WHO ARE THEIR PARENTS!?
Goals 👍♥️
Nordic beauties
What's the age difference between the sisters?
She's like Bowie meets Blondie...
damn she got some cute sisters damn
Hi Kenzo! I wanted to ask you if you can consider to add Spanish Subtitles in videos like this 🥺 I want to share them with my friends who can't understand english that well. I can do the translation if you're okay with that ♡ Let me know 💫
I think I can give you subtitles permission and you can add them yourself, I'll look into it later
@@kenzokenzo That would be great!! Thank you so much 🥰
@@valentine.9511 are you on discord or smth? I need to dm you
Aurora was like 😁😄😂😅😆😝
Lindmo is like Norwegian version of oprah.
Love to se the triforce!!!
Fascinating - The three sisters...Wonder how come they speak three different West-Norwegian dialects.? How come I wonder? Need to ask their parents...
They explained that? They're different ages and the family moved when they grew up.
Aurora was born here where I live, in Stavanger, her first 3 years they lived in a wee place called Høle in Sandnes just south of Stavanger. Miranda being the oldest has a Sandnes dialect, Viktoria in the middle has an in between something dialect, and Aurora has a Bergen dialect. I’m sure people from the city of Bergen might say she has a "stril" dialect 😅 Bergensere, u can correct me if I’m wrong 😆😬
AURORA :-)
Actually the do look alike..except she has a different hair colour..Aurora
