We've been cranking the last few months and it's been a while since I did a video. What kinds of subjects would ya'll like me to cover? Shoot me some suggestions in the comments below or on our website. Would really appreciate your feedback and ideas.
Would love for you to talk about the organization pieces you used and where to get them.
@Bobby Uriel I use Flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
@Harley Braylon Yea, I have been watching on Flixzone for since march myself =)
@Harley Braylon Thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !!
@Bobby Uriel Happy to help xD
Great video. I like the idea of laminating the instructions for the specialty tools and keeping them in a binder. I will do that from now on. And the tool grid, OH WOW!!! That is so sweet. I will be integrating that into my tool box.
Glad to help. As crazy as things get around here it's the only way I could keep up with all the pages.
When you have so much money in tools, you got to pack some heat...awesome!
Thanks for the tour. The tool grid is a very nice addition to your box
Thanks. It's a pain to get set up, but it's really nice to have the ability to completely customize your tool layout. Happy Wrenching!!
Thanks for the comment. You're correct, the ToolGrid was a great addition and time saver.
The binder is a great idea. Thanks for the tip. Awesome box
Thank You!!
Nice tool box- thanks for the tour and the time you took to link everything up
Thank you for your comment. When you love what you do it shows.
one of the better ones , not one but two mac trays . ultra organized I like that . only drawback is you cant take out rails when you have socket trays. power drawer who needs it , he doesn't even need to bend over to get his drill much better . Im done watching toolbox tours Ive seen it all now. every shop is different every guy is different every line of work is different . you do what you think is best for what you do as organized as possible.
Awesome video and a killer set up thanks for sharing
It's nice to see a tool box that's straight to the point can't find it in under a minute then something's wrong 👍nice touch with the binders for the tool manuals 👍👍
Thanks for the comment, Dan. Saves me a ton of time. Happy Wrenching
@@IrishGarrett I actually used a large photo album if I had to read both sides of the directions it was easier to store then a hole punching and laminated set up for small and oversized paperwork
Hang up the cigarettes and get to the gym... you got to live long enough to pay for the box and tools.
He can smoke, drink, and eat BBQ all day long, this dude is my kind of friend! Love the Extreme Green Box too!
I actually quit after 25 years with nicotine pouches you put in the lip like dip. I still dip RedMan sometimes as well as General snus all low TSNA products that probably won't kill you. It is a nice weight to have removed I mean Lung cancer is a thought that scares all smokers. Try being more sensitive that was just uncalled for.
You are exactly what I'd expect an HD tech to look like. Even had to stop the vid to light another cig, lmao.
Like the famous one eyed sailor said, "I ams what I ams and that's all that I am". lol
Love how it's so organized and everything has a place. "Don't sell your soul to snap-on" LOL man everyone does.... BUT buying used snap-on is never a bad idea. Great deals to be had.
Absolutely. That's how I got all the basics when I was coming up. Course I'm old, so Ebay and Amazon weren't really a thing back then so I haunted every pawn shop around me for Snap-On, Mac, and Matco tools.
Thanks for all the comments, questions and suggestions. I try to check the comments weekly and respond accordingly. It's great talking to the new graduates from MMI and other trade schools. Happy to help answer questions for ya'll if I can.
Cheers all!! Happy Wrenching!!
I graduated on the 3rd :) still getting the rest of my snap on Harley-Davidson master set
Great organization. Really like the modular setup.
Thank You!! Appreciate the comment!!
@@IrishGarrett Hi where i can get modular for tools what name or company make that ...thanks
Love your choice of snacks on the door
That’s a true professional set up! Great organization.
Thank you!
Awesome tour and cool tool grid and side arm!! Keep it up!!
Thank You! Appreciate the comment!
Your box is awesome, I went with us general and with the extra 15 grand I saved I bought a 1972 Chevy Nova. 😆
Good one!
Right on. I spent the profit I made this quarter to buy my 72 drop top Olds Cutlass. To each their own
Greetings from Ireland...that is one impressive set up Sir!
Thank you for your comment. Look forward to riding through Ireland and my family's homeland one day soon.
@@IrishGarrett You welcome...bring loads of money Ireland is a total rip off!
you have the best looking box and tools on youtube, congrats
Thanks.
Cheers indeed! I can tell I’m gonna like your channel. 🚬🍻💯👍
"Thanks Justin", He says as he turns off the open sign and cracks open a cold Coors Light!!!
Justin Dow are you a mod from the den of tools ?
J2XG Yes Sir. I got a small channel as well if you want to check it out
Wicked nice set up. Always cool seeing someone else’s set up.
Thanks Justin!! I got most of the ideas I've used here from others, so I completely agree.
Now thats how you start a toolbox tour, leaning up against the box w a cig in hand
Nice well taken care of tool set that is who we like to see are Snappy tools in the hands of.
Thank you Andrew!!
This is a damn good video, thanks for the upload.
Dude,Awesome tool box 👏 Terrific Tools you Rule ✌️
That was a great tour. Thanks.
I have the 72" with the top hutch looking to get a side box next, thanks for the video.
@Kevin Halton I don't even want to talk about my snapon bill every week I have 2 62 in boxes pushed together with a top hutch on both and 2 side lockers a 3 overhand boxes on the hutches
Awesome box way to keep your toolbox organized.
Thank you
Sweet box! I love that green. I have the epic 68 but no hutch or locker, so much more room.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah,... I've been real happy with mine. Happy Wrenching
Nice Box and Tools 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Man. Every time I get on the truck or thumb through the newest catalog there's 100 tools I want and would love to have!! lol,... but I am a wrench. I have always been a wrench and I will always be a wrench, and I can't afford the huge boxes and all the new shiny stuff. Not knocking it,... if I had the scratch I would probably go nuts, but since I am just a broke Harley tech I try to make sure I can justify every dollar I spend on a tool instead of on my babies,... so I make myself content to just flip through the catalog,... drool a little and get grumpy for a bit.
Thanks for the comment!! Happy Wrenching!!!
Awesome box and tool's brother
Thank you
Nice box even nicer Glock! Wish I could carry at work shit crazy nowadays !
Thank you!!
Nice box boss I got snap on box with basic tools
I always enjoy a good toolbox tour - especially one geared towards working on Harley-Davidson's. Your setup is epic man, nice job. I love how organized your stuff is too. I didn't see a lock ring specialty tool for accessing fuel filters and fuel pumps - Lang makes an excellent one if interested. Great job👍
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check it out!
Gotta say, when ye opened ye tool box,,,, I ripped me shirt off and poured glitter on me chest,, cuz if I have ta sale meself ta women ta get that box,,,,ITS GONNA HAPPEN YEEH!! #irishapproved oh P.S. ye now have a new subscriber 😁
LMAO!! That's Epic!! Thanks for the comment!! Made my day!!
@@IrishGarrett LOLOLOLOLOLOLO grand yeeh 😂😂😂
🤣
kool box bro!!! i got a KTL1023
Which pistol do you wear ? Thanks for this video. Very helpful.
love the Zero Foxtrot stickers mate
Goddammit, I smoke cigs, drink beer and clean my Smith and Wesson on my snap-on toolbox. After work, I climb into my 2000s Chevy Silverado 1500. I love America.
72 Olds Cutlass Convertible and it's a Glock
Sweet set up dude!
Thank you very much for this detailed tour. If I may ask a question Sir: I also have two of the big Snap On boxes - one for the common tools, one for specials (I also only work on HDs). I work on 3 lifts - the longest way from the main toolbox to one lift is about 9 meters. Although I like it organized, I find it annoying to always collect the basic wrenches, nuts etc. from the box when working on a bike. In the past months I got used to a roll car having all the basic tools (all wenches, nuts, Allen sets, ratchets etc.) on it for working on a bike and I only come back to the tool boxes when I need something “special”. The positive thing is that you have all the main stuff directly at the bike. The downside is, it is kinda messy. So the question is - how do you do it? Do you go to your box for every nut or do you collect all the basic things in the morning and return them in the evening? Thank you very much for your input and regards from Germany.
That's how I do it. I have a 52" tool box, a storage cabnet for like a garage and a roll cart that has all my sockets, sae wrenches, screw drivers, as well as other every day items. Easy to move around if needed
I've also dealt with the same frustrations. I purchased a Matco locking cart, but all that happened was I ended using it as add on storage before I got the side locker. Now I have kinda transitioned it into my Electrical box with my soldering tools, pin tools etc inside. I just got tired of lugging it around the shop. Instead I bought my guys rolling trays, and they have been great.

"It's Irwin, it's cheap" lol got tap and die set? Drill bits? The tool truck brands are Irwin rebrand
I cant lie my favorite part is the snack shelf
Great video man. I would love to work on bikes but there's just not that many in my area of the woods
Beautiful set up Sir!
Thank You
great setup looks easy to work out of
Really is. The amount of time I save daily is amazing.
I am hoping to frankinstine a large box out of all the small ones I have this summer
and I will put up a video of it
Damn your roll to work strapped up
It's Texas,... The neighbors dog even rolls strapped!! LOL
Nice mate thanks for sharing.
Dose the snap on scan tool allow you to program key fobs? Or solely using it as a scan tool?
Thanks for your comment. No, we use the Techno Research Centurion product to program fobs.
Check with your snap on tool dealer, as far as I know snap on sell some scanners capable to program computers, immobilizers and keys, other brands like launch, autel and maxisys can do all those functions.
I’ve never used a slide hammer on a wheel bearing. They don’t teach that at mmi. I’ve only used the Jim’s tool with collets
"This little Bastard" at 6:18 do you have a Make and Part Number for that.
Super set up by the way
Motion Pro 90* Screwdriver, part number 08-0229

The tools do the work. The box is for organization which helps the work go faster and more efficiently. Buy either as needed and whatever suits you. Just remember cheap junk tools can let you down and possibly hurt you in the process. This is what my shop-mentor taught when I started many years ago.
I wish I could be so specialized that I could get buy on that amount of tools...I load nearly that much stuff out of my boxes to go out on road calls! LOL
I dislike side lockers for the extra hassle of opening the door and then the drawer for the desired tool. My toolman has tried to sell me another one to "even out the set" but I will only ever have one for bulky stuff I rarely use....Oh, and with spending the money on an 84" roller, locker, and a hutch, I just went the lazy route and got the ready made lights! LOL Whats another couple hundred bucks when you're spending close to 10K anyway? They have lasted 6 years or so until the LED driver unit in the hutch went bad and I pulled it apart, found the MFR's info and ordered it online for about 20 bucks.
Very true Doc. I try not to go cheap on tools. I learned the same lesson from my mentor as well. As for the light. I have 3 daughters... 3 very expensive little girls. And my pigtail mafia will shake me down for every crying dime they can get outta me, so I try to cut costs where I can. Thanks for the comment and happy wrenching!
@@IrishGarrett Haha! "Pigtail mafia" made me laugh! I only had 2 girls - many years of ballet shoes every few weeks for 80/100 a pair, and I used to run 15K miles a year on my work / kids class / event taxi car just on their activities and stuff. I realized you're right - I started spending a lot more on my tools / toys now that the kids are off on their own.
My cornwell man comes every Friday. Get with me on your info and I can pick that double flex up for you. Nice video even nicer set up. Keep up the good work.
That would be great. Thank You. I need the 17mm ratcheting double flex. Can't find a part number on any of them.
@@IrishGarrett my cornwell guy is here now. He doesn't have it on his truck. Imagine that. Lol. But he ordered it and I should have it next Friday. I'll message you back soon as I have it in hand and see where to send it.
I haven't forgot about you brother. He didn't have it yesterday yet but I will have it soon. Actually have a part number now and its 38$ soon as he brings it I'll ship it out. I'm probably going to get a set myself.
@@redethridge7829 fantastic. Thank You!!
Hey bub I didn't forget you. He was just slow. Lol. I have it now tho.
Snap-on has great hand tools but the electric tools are not good. Simply put, they’re not as powerful or durable as their competitors. While their toolboxes and wrenches are the best by far.
Edit: absolutely love your badass setup and I wouldn’t change a thing. I wish my Setup could be half of what yours is. Much respect
Thanks Bud, I have been really happy with the setup for a long time. Happy Wrenching!!
Hello Irish Garrett,
I just finished watching your toolbox inventory. I must say, I really like your Snap-on EPIQ Extreme Green with Titanium trim toolbox. You also have a nice collection of tools & very well organized too. I made my 1st toolbox inventory here on RUclips about 1 1/2yrs ago. I know that you are enjoying your toolbox every day. How do I know that you do? Because I enjoy my EPIQ every day. It's the best & last box I will ever buy. Thank you for sharing your toolbox inventory with us.
Gregg (Critter) Muse
Thanks for the comment Critter. Yes, I absolutely love my EPIQ box. I have an old Mac GatorNational box next to it that I never really use anymore because of the quality of the Snap-On box.
Hey can i get the info on the lighting for your hutch.
Nice color box👍🔧🍺
Thank you
Great tour video!! Thanks! What tool system is that you use for the sockets and wrenches?
It's the Tool Grid by Matco. Thanks for the comment!
did not know harley had good mechanics like you around anymore.
Thanks!!
"The lights come On and the angels sign"!! Lmao
Are all your different bearing tools in the white boxes all Jim's tools?
For the most part, yes.
Awesome video thanks for going into detail any chance you could post or tell me what kind of screwdriver it was that you have that has a 90-degree head on it? Thanks
Sure thing, its made by Motion Pro.

Badass...good for you. Fuck the haters...
I fix my Harley and I'd rather take it to this guy
Lol, thank you
Can't find the list of tools u mentioned I just came across this video n I like it
A nice well organized toolbox! I also appreciate you including the tool list. How come I didn't see any torque adapters in the video? You must use those working on Harley's.
Are your snap ring pliers snap on? I cannot find a good cheap set. I guess I should try Harbor Freight.
Yeah, they are Snap-on. Check ebay. Snap-on has released a new quick release version and you can pick up the ones like mine for much cheaper than new as techs upgrade
Nice video. Where do you purchase your Jim's tools from? Nice layout and great set-up. Thanks
From Jim's USA direct or Drag Specialties
Great video . Does the snap on scanner allow u to set up a key fob ? Set a pin and clear codes if not what do u use when u need to setup a key fob?? I am looking for replacement for digital tech
No, The Snap on doesn't offer that functionality. We use Techno Research Centurion and Direct Tune
I gotta ask man, how do you guys as Harley mechanics stay busy, like during winter and stuff?
The maintenance slows down a bit, but the upgrade jobs, project bikes and motor builds come in when people stop riding, so tires and fluids and brakes slow down, the bigger jobs pick up the slack.
@@rjackgarrett hi
Man I have only been a Harley Davidson tech for 4 years and I’m well over 20k in just tools in my box, his tool box is more than that lol. I use the snap on p1000 for my diag tool.
Thanks for checking out the video!! Glad you found some value in it. HAPPY WRENCHING!!
Definitely I’m always learning. I had a first time problem as a tech the other day. Customer brought their newer Dyna in and it was leaking oil from the clutch adjuster on the cable!!! It was a mud bug in the vent tube!!!
Nice collection👍
Thank you. Gets the job done!!
Nice setup I'm hoping to get a locker soon
I have been surprised at just how much it will hold. Thanks for the comment!
10 cent cigarette and $100,000 dollar tool set! Nice combo, his tools will out live him 10 to 1 ratio! Smoking is Healthy for you, approved by the Surgeon General!
Thanks for your concern
Dang I need like a full list lol so I can just check off what I already have and go from there.
Any chance of an updated toolbox tour? It's been a few years?
small grey set without lid in 2nd drawer - "This very small kit of torx and allens..." appears to be a Vim Tools VHC77 - just FYI - thanks for the tour.
Thank you, and yes you're correct!!! That thing is invaluable!!
Could i have the info for that light set up? I like yourself am not dropping over 250 light for an led light. Also what's the part numbers for your two Knivex Pliers. Thanks
Shoot an email to Inventory@BarnettCycles.com and they can get you a break down of the parts list and numbers.
Knipex 8701400 and 8701300
Nice Tool Box!
Thank You
They do make yours with a power drawer but if you have had it a few years it was not available 2-3 years ago. My Epiq 84 doesn’t have one. I never felt the need for it.
That's good to know, I will edit my description to let folks know they are now offered.
Nice video man
Thanks Stephen, appreciate the comment Bud.
What can you test for with that ethos pro? Curious is it just codes or can you program or adjust some of the systems that work off the ecm
you can pull live data, manipulate settings, enable disable options... usual stuff.
Nice toolbox!
Thank You!
Jim’s brake bleeding with the master cylinder caps. How does that work?
You reverse bleed the master using a pump.
@@IrishGarrett so the cap blocks the fluid from spilling out and I fill from the caliper? Is that how that works?
Have you ever tried a bridge puller for nasty bearings. They are a pain to set up but have never failed me..
Hi Ken, Thanks for the comment. I haven't used one for pulling bearings. I've used them for dent repairs and the like. Might have to try that next time. Do you recommend a particular brand?
how many inch is that computer monitor?
It's not too big. Maybe 25" or so
How often do you use a chain breaker?
Usually try to run a master link, but every so often we get a bike in that's got a riveted chain
Interested in the hutch LEDs with the mag switch. Let me know where ya got it! Thanks
Jake, shoot an email to our parts manager at Inventory@BarnettCycle.com and she will get you a parts list.
Irish Garrett done! Thanks
Nice video bud
Great video and I actually might have a double flex head 17 mm Cornwell wrench somewhere around here think it's in storage if I find it I'll hit you up and let you know
That would be amazing. Thank You. Please let me know. Happy to take it off your hands, just let me know how much and how to send.
@@IrishGarrett I haven't had a chance to look to see where mine is at but I did contact the Cornwell dealer see if I can get you one
Never seen pliers so organized 😂
Lol, Thanks
Basically it's a cabinet used for keeping beer and snacks.
Love the kawi green. Nice assortment of tooling as well.
Been using motion pro on the dirt for years, no prob. I'm not a daily bike wrench either tho.
Good day sir
Edit... No milk duds in the snack tray? Not sure if I can trust ya. Hahaha
The duds don't last long enough to make the tray!! LOL
nice setup!
Thanks Matt!
Can you provide a link to the system you installed to organize your top two drawers please? Thanks.

What is the sizes in your torx screwdrivers please thank you makes of your torx tools thank you again
The Bluepoint Torx drivers are Bluepoint Set Number BLPEVA9 and include sizes T8-T40. 99% of the time I am using the T25 and the T27 on Harley switches and handlebar control clamp bolts, so if you're just starting out and are on a budget those are the two I would start with. An awful lot of the Torx screws on the newer Harleys can be removed with these two sizes. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
Look up a guy name Jrc54 He just picked up a set of those wrenches the double flex maybe he can get you a replacement for it or maybe you can figure something out he has a channel and is a well respected man
I sure will. Thank You!
Why do y’all turn the brim of the hat upwards? Always wondered and never knew
We don't all do that..
A lot of times investing in a good roll cart is better then an expensive box
Good day what are the sizes in your torx sockets please thank you
Hey there. If you check the description I have most of the part numbers and sizes listed for the majority of my tools. To answer your question though I have the following Torx sockets:
Snap-On 211EFTXTPY 3/8" & 1/4" Drive Torx Sockets T55-T25
Snap-On 210EFTXL 3/8" & 1/4" Drive Extended Torx Sockets T50-T8
Snap-On 105TUTX 3/8" Stubby Wobble Torx Sockets T55-T27

Snap-On 105TUTX 1/4" Drive Universal (Wobble) Stubby Torx Sockets T20-T40
Hope this helps!! Happy Wrenching and thanks for checking us out.
