This song deserves million views. So beautiful....
Thank you!
I like this soloist’s voice very much; she is very expressive. There are a couple of recordings of this song that are really superb, and this is certainly one of them. The choir’s diction is extremely clear, which is very impressive. I always cry when I hear this song. It is sentimental, but we are just human beings; what does it all come down to but feelings in the end, and memory, and love? Only in sleep, time is forgotten: our lives are so short … peace.
Beautiful. Nothing in our life happens accidentally. I was just thinking about my childhood when I came across this marvelous song. It filled my eyes with tears and my heart with gratitude for a chance to be able to enjoy it.
Absolutely beautiful .... pity the 16 who voted thumbs down obviously hadn't a clue what they were listening to!
I sang this in my advanced choir last year and it sounded really good. One of my best friends had the solo and she sounded beautiful
I like this version a lot. And I like this subtle dance of the singers. This wonderful lullaby should be danced.Well done.
its so nice to see people singing there heart out
Beautiful .🙏
I literally cried listening to this
it's just brilliant.
So rich and warm sounding. It's a privilege to listen to this. Well done!
so many fond memories of Choir in this song. This song has one of the richest Alto parts I've ever heard.
Enchantingly lovely! Great job Jenny.
So beautiful, brings me to tears.
Congrats on such a fine ensemble, focused, poised, vocally pure, and exactly how Esenvalds would like it, I think, Jennifer is perfect for this solo.. keep up the great work.
The piece really opens UP as it continues.... So rich and warm... ❤️
one of the best rendition of this beautiful piece
Hauntingly beautiful. Thank you for putting this out into the world.
Certainly my favorite, well recorded, beautifully and impeccably performed.
Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
Only in sleep Time is forgotten-
What may have come to them, who can know?
Yet we played last night as long ago,
And the dollhouse stood at the turn of the stair.
The years had not sharpened their smooth round faces,
I met their eyes and found them mild-
Do they, too, dream of me, I wonder,
And for them am I too a child?
Hi from Germany. I like this very much.
Stunning...love this
Thank you! Cheers!
Magnificent! Thank you.

Awesome choir and soloist! Keep the vids coming pls.
This is such a beautiful performance! Great job, Brandon Johnson and EMU singers!!
Esenvalds has tapped into something pretty deep and profound, no??
This is just a super performance of this wonderful composition. An OMG to your soloist, too!
Good job Jenny!!
Beautiful!
Lovely
Absolutely beautiful! Thx for posting this!
Beautiful song, well done!
lovely...
This is a beautiful rendition of this piece, with congratulations to the sensitive singing of Jennifer O'Neal. However can anyone shed light on the sudden inversion of the image between 1.47 min and 2.48 min?
great job, everyone!
This was lovely, I wish the men had a few more members to balance the sopranos. They got drowned out a bit at times but this was really well performed. Restraint can be tough but they made it look effortless.
♥
I’d love to know if she still sings
She does. ;-)
