    That's wild...your income is reduced to less than 1500 after bills and debt...this is why getting out of bebt is so important...financial literacy is life changing...

      Totally!! Understnading what to do and how is key!! Unfortunately, debt can still happen, and that's why we got to work hard to stay on top of it. Lots of mine was from my daughters 7 open heart surgeries and countless hospital visits. So time to get out of debt!!! 😃

    I have been wondering when or what kind of goal do you work toward to then place cash in the bank? For instance, do you do it midyear (like the end of this month) for all categories, maybe when you complete a cash challenge, perhaps when you have reached $1000...??

    • @lymanjoy
      @lymanjoy  Месяц назад

      I like to every other month because anything more than a hundred, I feel like it needs to be in a high yield bank to make money and for safety from theft and fire.

    I find like 2 years ago awesome skincare routine and products. Made my skin look amazing❤ but like a month ago I put my peeling cream. I used it once a week. My face start burning. Also my face start to swell and eczema. I ofcource wash it out and took antihistamine and cortisone cream and pills. 😣😣 in a week that "rash" swell up my face, arms, neck, ears . Everything above waist😢. It was itchy, and felt like i was burning. Of course doctor give me stronger cortisone pills and cream and it went a Away. No I dont have skincare routine. I think I would not but anything on my face for while.😅

    I love your videos! I have totally binge watched them. I have your whole journal and notebook and I am ready to do this! BUT I ran into a hiccup. There are 4 accounts with my finances. I have a business, a personal, a joint with my husband, and my husbands personal. Would you recommend combining them in to 2 accounts with the business being separate or what would a magic solution for the to do a 0 balance budget with all 4? Business account is paid once a month and so is my husband. I get paid weekly to my personal. We move money into the joint. I have been scratching my head with this when there probably is a super easy answer. Should I do the budget by paycheck 6 times a month? Help please haha. And yes, I completely understand you are NOT a financial advisor I am just asking your recommendations and will not hold you accountable for anything you suggest with your opinion. I appreciate you and the time you take to share and teach us to budget.

    • @lymanjoy
      @lymanjoy  Месяц назад

      Before I make a suggestion, can I ask where your bills get paid from? Also, are all these account traditional banks? Any high yield banks?

    • @SimplyBlessedDesignz
      @SimplyBlessedDesignz Месяц назад

      @@lymanjoy They are all traditional checking accounts. Monthly bills come from all 4 accounts.

    • @lymanjoy
      @lymanjoy  Месяц назад +1

      First, have a completely different budget book for business, never combo with personal, if you have money coming from it "pay" yourself and treat that like a paycheck in personal budget.
      Ok, there are a couple ways you could handle it, personally I would have a business and joint with my husband, then you could make two high yield savings account for spending personal accounts that are transferred from the joint. There are many out there that are good, I only have experience with Wealth front, but I really like them, and I can move my money quickly and have a debit card. I would have all bills come from the joint and business as they apply. Then I would budget by paycheck, or you could say budget by pay period. Example, week one you and your husband get paid so you combo that budget by paycheck and list all the bills that fall within that period adding spending account to a bill that transfers than do the rest of the categories, debt, cash wallet, sinking funds, ect. Week 2 would be one paycheck, week three two paychecks you and your husbands and then week 4 just one paycheck.
      But you could also keep it just the way you have it and if you did I would again combo paychecks to do a weekly cash stuffing and budget by pay period on the budget by paycheck form. When I do mine, I actually do this, so my week one is my husband's paycheck, week 2, I budget two paychecks from two different banks, then week 3, again budget two paychecks from two different banks. Let me know if you have any questions from there.
      Blessings

    • @SimplyBlessedDesignz
      @SimplyBlessedDesignz Месяц назад

      @@lymanjoy I appreciate your feedback. and Yes the business is separate with exception of a "Paycheck" to us into the joint account. All of the business expenses come from that account. I am probably thinking too much about it haha Thanks once again for your insight. Have a blessed day.
