The fact that we played rhapsody in blue exactly 2 days before we saw this exact video on a flight from Denver to Orange County back in late April of last year lol
@@fleetseats2137 Rarely happens on United from my experience. In fact, 90% of their flights on average are on time and they're the 3rd most punctual airline in North America, just under Delta Airlines and Alaska Airlines. Under United is American and Southwest.
I just flew my first United flight last week (American is usually my preference for miles), it was actually really cool to see it used for the video and definitely had my attention
I look forward to this safety video being updated when the new Boom Supersonic Overture supersonic jetliner enters service with United Airlines later this decade.
I was on a 737-900ER departing from PHX. with the DirecTV monitors with the remotes on armrests 3 weeks ago. I loved using it. And I don't mind about the remotes on the armrests. This video played while pushback. I loved the engine starting while the video was playing. Some parts don't match up with the RUclips uploaded ones, but I want to be on a plane like that again. (Edit passengers consider 737-900ER)
I have flight benefits on United because of a friend of mine since I’m an enrolled friend of theirs. It’s because of that, that’s making me decide to give my airline loyalty to United because overall, even though I have had top tier status on AA before, despite the amount of times I have been delayed on UA (which is about 50% of the time but, personally I don’t mind cause I’m not in any rush to get home or to my final destination), they have always taken care of me, even through weather delays. Granted I book and list myself for First Class when I go on them, I still prefer going on them over Delta (which I live in MSP, a Delta hub) or AA.
I recently noticed that the golf shot that's teed off around 45 seconds in is topped straight into the teebox and now I can't unsee it. This bothers me more than it should 😂
I have a Positive Possible Solution for this Safety Issues regarding unaccompanied children traveling on Airlines, Transportation Buses, etc. Children should be supervised by a parent or a trained Professional of the Airline to be with children during the entire trip, because of all the craziness going on with child predators I Suggest a possible alternative solution to this issues regarding Child Travel Safety. There could Be a introduction and implementation Program integration for Training of Safety Travel Concierge Staff Professional There duties would Be to accompany the child from the beginning of drop off by a the Parent or confirmed Guardian. From that point the child would Be accompanied by the trained Safety Professional from beginning to the end of the trip. The Trained Safety Travel Advocate would Be provided to wear a body cam, to provide confirmation of the Safe Travel and Accompaniment from the pick up and drop off of the traveling child. The child could Be seated alone in one seat and the Traveling Safety Staff Professional could Be seated opposite row to the left or right directly across from the child. This Travel Safety Staff Professional would maintain direct view of child, while also providing social distance space, by sitting across from the child. After the flight was completed the child would Be accompanied by the Airline Safety Staff Professional directly from the flight to the pick up destination point location, and the child would Be transfer to the waiting accompanying Parent or verified guardian. The receiving parent or pick up guardian would have to provide all necessary information, documentation, verifiable identification. A picture or body camera footage could Be used to confirm pick up and drop off of the child. @@fleetseats2137 I fly about 100 times per year and get maybe one or two delays out of those times. Very rare.
Lucky guys, I barely fly united and quite a lot of my flights with them get delayed/canned.

It's interesting that United stills uses "Rhapsody In Blue" as its theme music.
That will never change as it is the signature theme song of United Airlines and it can always be updated.

I think the clips you see will vary depending on where you're flying (more true if you're flying internationally).
