Both products are good but I feel you on lesonal having a slight edge with certain products. There universal clear is a great clear not only for doing small jobs but I have even done overalls as well. Another thing I like is the liquid pearls instead of powder. What are your favorite products? Where you from?
I had a rep that let me try tamco clear and it was so nice and when buffed it looked like glass. Being that I work for a dealer at the moment unfortunately they have to get a more known paintline for warranty purposes.
I’m no help on this line cause I’ve never used it. But I switched from PPG to Spies Hecker and love it!! Ur a bad ass painter so as long as it gets in ur guns it’s gonna turn out bad ass! Change is good bro
I was shooting for that at first because the only thing I have used from sikkens is there clear which is awesome. I really wanted waterbase but it was not my choice but I have used lesonal before and I really liked it.
@trail ride love well why do you say that they compete to PPG level cromax when you say that that means you don't know how to use it because my brother has never had an issue with transtar products they're phenomenal
I can’t believe people are actually recommending lesonal. I can understand sikkens, which is also made from AKZO NOBLE. But lesonal?!?!?! You will spend more time color matching than actually painting a car. This is insane to me.

Yes good product mate, been using it for a while now. Also have used De Beers both good....Stay safe...from NZ
The body shop I work at switched from ppg to lesonal, I like both products. But I would spray lessonal over ppg, I just have better overall finishes.

We use pro air clear fast and slow, primer pro white and black

I love it. I used it before for about 8 years and now glad to be using it again.

I wish it was but unfortunately it's not cause we are setup for it. Waterbase is awesome though I shot it for 2 years
