Making it go back up will be a waste of processing time so it's better you add a cube at the bottom and give it a fluid physics the change the flow behavior from geometry to outflow

How did the box go away in 6:49

After activating Mesh in the domain setting, that box will become the fluid mesh if you play the simulation.
So it never goes away but it becomes the fluid
