It's been 2 years since the Holy-Spirit has been making me travail in prayer during the worship moments in church. I never truly understood it but I trusted the Holy-Spirit and what I often feel (it happens at least once or twice a month) is really like labor, from my belly, and an electric discharge that cannot be contained, as much as you try to tame it and not be loud, but the Holy-Spirit works through you, and a shout/scream is released fro your guts. Sometimes it feels like a Roar (of a Lion) , sometimes like a Shofar (trumpet call), sometimes the scream is like a cryyy , other times it's like a war cry... It comes out differently. And the convictions I always have is that therr is a clearing of the air, a breakthrough, a sort of release in the atmosphere, and like a path that had been opened for more to be released. And last Sunday I had the most intense moment of travailing in the spirit, and I knew I was praying for the nations and for our church community. And then I felt sooo exhausted! I just wanted to go home after church and sleep in God's rest. Everyone is always kinda perplexed with me at church after it (like they are so sorry for me, like "Olivia and her crying and shouting" but truly, it's not me... Not at all. At the end, very often, the LORD makes me LAUGH or smile, or have peace...after having cried,and moaned, and shouted... I pray I meet more people who have gone through this. I also thank GOD for my Pastor who allows that space of travail because I'm usually the only one going through that, and sometimes it lengthens the worship moments, and as a consequence lengthens church time.... but I really truly truly cannot stop the flow or even the release of the shout from my guts. But since that last episode on Sunday, I was convicted to do some research to understand better what is going on... So it also doesn't seem odd to me. Even though I always know it's the Holy-Spirit at work in me. I wanted a depth of the revelation. I asked the Holy-Spirit to help me and to teach me morr. And as I found RUclips videos on Travailing, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD what the Holy-Spirit has been working in me! It gave me sooo much peace and understanding. Thank YOU JESUS. Thank you to all who shared about this experience. Thank you for demystifying this type of prayer and for encouraging others to grow to this level for co-laboring with the spirit. I'm really looking forward to God revealing me more people who have had these experiences, and with whom I can exchange. Thank YOU to the Holy-Spirit for working through me to pray and intercede. What an honor to be a vessel to birth spiritual things through the body, soul and spirit. I'm grateful. And I really want to be a good steward.
I am only 2 years or so in my journey with the Lord I experienced travail in my alone times and even while cooking. Today something new happened, as I was listening to my adult daughter on the phone talking about something, I felt the Holy Spirit fall on me heavily. Now my daughter is really new to Jesus and just only recently prayed for salvation. She has never been in a church. Anyway, it just felt so heavy upon me that I just stopped and asked how Holy Spirit wanted me to respond and then it just broke loose like a dam breaking and releasing all the water. It was so intense and loud, accompanied with speaking in tongues and as it subsided there were a few more words in English as I praised Him. I felt so tired afterwards but at peace and neither of us can interpret tongues but I just really felt that was an intercession for her. Has anyone else had this happen? All Glory to God
Yes that happened to me right after I got off the phone with my client who was pregnant and the Holy Spirit touch me immediately, I travail in the spirit for her baby. Her baby heart stop during delivery, God brought her back! God used me to help her baby.
I dont understand why people dont understand the gift. They think your possessed. I get this at times and it's very painful deep in the pit of your stomache

i am going through that at the moment, but i didn't found anybody in the body of christ around me who had these encounters with the holy Spirit. I am so happy to have found your videos. I think that the reason, why we don't see so many christians in travail anymore is because they didn't surrendered their lifes to Jesus and the Holy Spirit completely. Often also fear and the need to be in control blocks the work of the holy Spirit. I had so many wonderful encounters with god, when i started to trust the holy Spirit and let him be in control...what an Adventure !
I never knew I had this happening until my third year of bible college. Then I went through a season of intercession and travail and it would come upon me out of nowhere. I remember when we finished having a class of past moves of God and Revival. Than it came upon me to intercede it was a very intense travail but after that God showed it to me it was for the Native People of Canada 💔😭 January 30, 2019.
Lord forgive me for quenching the Holy Spirit. I didn’t understand it so when it would happened it would be soo loud. I use to be so embarrassed because it would be so loud over the music at church..
We need intercession in the churches today. Many churches are powerless because there is no intercession. Even the Holy Spirit is quenched because they want to keep order of service. Which has resulted in man's order of service, with man controlling the be whole service, leaving no room for the Holy Spirit to move.
Yes I don’t see it anymore I have a gift of prophetic intercession I don’t see travail anymore in churches it’s why I don’t care to attend most churches
I’ve been experiencing travail at the most “inconvenient” times. How do you not quench the spirit with 3 little kids when it comes on you at lunch time and you just feel like wailing, weeping, and growling? Help!
Beloved Jennifer please answer this question as I've searched scripture over and over can't find any proof even asked Katie Souza to explain perhaps she's too busy anyways here it goes... travail..Is it possible that my Wife a believer in Lord Jesus Christ can "carry" someone else's sickness like backache headache any kind of sickness?..like when entering church right she becomes "ill" and after praying or well during service she will "manifest" someone else's health troubles and I'm ok Ike that ain't Biblical because Lord Jesus Christ is the only one that did that?.. please try answer as I'm not in the mood at times to go to church with her because I think it's well.. demonic these things?..or perhaps an anointing i don't understand ..please
The Bible is clear, it is with prayer AND FASTING. Why bother the Holy Spirit with so many words, does he not know your needs before you ask? Just get to the point when you ask. Ask often and demand an answer, be patient but for big things pray with another because whenever two or more are gathered he is with you.

I am used to travail in church. Very deep & agonizing form of prayer. I never try to stop it and let Holy Spirit have His way. Is very exhausting.
We need this in the body of Christ today.
